Denis Wolf - German bodybuilder with Russian character

Dennis Wolff (biography height and weight of the athlete is presented below) - a famous bodybuilder, originally from the Kirghiz SSR. He was born in 1978 in the city of Tokmak. The boy's father was Russian, and his mother was German. There was no remuneration in the family. The position of an ordinary worker did not allow his father to earn much. My mother was a housewife. Money was barely enough for food.

Childhood

At school Denis Wolf was very far from bodybuilding. The boy sang in the choir and played basketball. Life became even more difficult with the appearance of two younger children in the family. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the whole family moved to Germany. This was the old dream of Wolf's mother. Denis urgently had to learn German. It was extremely difficult, because at that time there were no special classes for Russian children. After graduation, Wolf went to work. The young man painted houses and put windows.

Hard Labour

Sometimes the working day lasted for 12 hours. The weekend was just one. Denis Wolf was able to leave the hard work only in 2005. But for classes in the gym the athlete always found time, regardless of the degree of his workload. This is a pretty vivid example of the psychology of the champion. Wolf developed qualities that allowed him to overcome any difficulties.

The path to the goal took six whole years of hard training. Only then did Wolf become a professional. Like many young bodybuilders of the time, Denis was motivated by Arnold Schwarzenegger. In his interviews, he regularly thanked the "Terminator" for inspiration.

Competition

In the first tournament Denis took part in the age of 20 years. Wolff weighed 91 kilograms, which was barely enough for a heavy weight class. However, in 1999 he managed to take the second and fourth place. In 2000, Wolf won the title of the absolute champion of Germany.

In 2005, the athlete became the world champion among amateurs. This was the start of his professional career. After a couple of years, he was able to move towards the venerable champions. In 2008, Wolf became the fourth on the "Olympia" (before that was the sixteenth). In 2013, he took the third place at the same competition. And in 2014 won the European "Arnold Classic".

A family

Wife Catherine and daughter of Denis Wolf Sabrina always support the athlete in his endeavors. The wife was not against when the athlete left the previous work. Denis met in Ekaterina in the sports club. At the moment they are together for almost twenty years (married in 1997). It is the strong family Wolf believes the key to a successful career. For his wife, Denis is the ideal man. All the victories the athlete devotes exclusively to his wife.

Also in the Wolf family there is a pet - an English bulldog. Wife jokingly says about their similarity. After training, the bodybuilder likes to tinker with a dog.

Diet

Denis Wolf wakes up at eight in the morning. He's eating oatmeal and ten squirrels. After that, the athlete takes a vitamin complex, squeezed it with a protein cocktail, and after two hours also a fat burner.

At half past one, lunch begins (brown rice, chicken, vitamins). At seven in the evening, Wolf drinks a carbohydrate drink. For dinner, a bodybuilder usually has a flounder with a baked potato and a vitamin complex. Before going to bed, the athlete drinks a couple of portions of a protein shake.

Secrets of the professional

In his training Denis Wolf follows several main principles:

  • In bodybuilding, physical and spiritual forces are very important, so it is worthwhile to concentrate completely on the lessons.
  • Choosing the right sports nutrition. Denis tried the products of many brands and decided to stop at serious German companies.
  • Priority should always be problem areas. Over weak points it is necessary to work regularly.
  • The optimal number of approaches is 4, and as for repetitions, it is 10-12. According to the athlete, the reduction of these figures will not allow qualitative development of muscle groups.

The training program of Denis Wolf

The hero of this article is engaged 5 times a week. The next two days the bodybuilder completely rest. Now as for the muscle groups. The first day Denis devotes training calves, triceps and chest. The second is for the biceps of the thigh, calves and biceps. On the third day, Wolf trains quadriceps. The fourth is dedicated to the back and calves, and the fifth to the shoulders and calf muscles.

Evaluation form

Denis has a mixed type of addition. It is a mesomorph with features of the ectomorph. This fact has a dual effect on the form of the bodybuilder. On the one hand, we see a massive (from 117 to 132 kilograms) and tall (181 centimeters) athletes with good proportions: long legs, narrow waist, broad shoulders. With frontal poses, this looks great, especially the poses "the widest in front" and "the biceps of one hand". On the other hand, there is a clear lack of muscle mass and failures in the development of an array of back, hamstrings, triceps. A small calf in general spoil the impression of his general condition. Especially in the pose of "ash-pe" (maximum muscularity). Although in this position he looked even more Coleman. To qualify for the championship, Denis needs to gain about 7-10 kilograms of muscle in the right places.
