Daniela Roy is a fairly well-known American actress who is well acquainted with the audience with her role in the military-detective series "Naval Police", where she played the special agent Kensi Bly. The future American actress was born in Boston, Massachusetts (USA) on December 2, 1983. Due to congenital heterochromia, her left eye has a light brown color, and the right eye is black. Daniela Rua's parents are Moises Roi and Katerina Korn.

The maternal grandmother was a representative of the Sephardic Jews, while the grandfather was Ashkenazi and was born in Poland. In addition to the Portuguese roots, Daniela has Spanish, which she got from her great-grandmother.

Shortly before the birth of the first and only daughter, the Rua family moved from Portugal to the United States to exchange specialists in medical institutions. The girl's father worked as an otolaryngologist at the University Hospital of Boston.
