The actors of this picture played an amusing story before the audience, showing a difficult period from the life of two inveterate adventurers. Mother and daughter earn a living by being "bred" with money from wealthy men. First, Max Conners (S. Weaver), who is already over forty, seduces and marries a wealthy groom, and then her daughter (D. Love-Hewitt) takes root in his confidence and plays the lover of the newly-made husband. Having caught his wife with a "mistress", Max arranges a loud divorce and takes half of the property. And then time comes for a new "victim".

But this time everything will go wrong, as planned. Secretly from his mother, Paige decides to turn her personal scam, which will result in a marriage of love. And on the horizon will appear the father of the girl (R. Liotta), who will prove to be as fraudulent as the mother and daughter.

Sigourney Weaver is a titled actress. True, she never got an Oscar, despite three nominations, but in the Weaver arsenal there are several BAFTA and Golden Globe awards.

Even before filming in the film "Heartbreakers" the actors who took part in the project were quite popular. Sigourney, for example, began her career in the films of the notorious Woody Allen. The famous actress made a tape "Alien". In this horror film Ridley Scott Sigourney played the main character - Ellen Ripley. On the one hand, we see a desperate adventurer Max Conners, who lives on a broad foot at someone else's expense and does not worry about anything.
