Cognition and creativity. Their role in the study of the surrounding world

The study of the surrounding world is an uninterrupted process of acquiring knowledge, which is constantly expanding, deepening, becoming more and more perfect. There are empirical and theoretical cognition. The latter is the highest stage and consists in the predominance of the rational component over the sensory. This does not mean that the sensory component is completely excluded - it becomes subordinate. Materialistic theories suggest that comprehension is a realistic reflection of the external world of a person, as well as reproduction of it as it exists outside the consciousness of a person.

Theoretical cognition studies the truth and error, the reliability of knowledge, as well as the basic stages of the cognitive process. It uses the following techniques and methods: idealization, abstraction, deduction and synthesis. Also its characteristic feature is the reflexivity and research of the process of obtaining knowledge. Its forms: theory, hypothesis, problem, principle and law. It is very important to understand that there is no clear boundary between the theoretical and empirical level.

Cognition and creativity are two concepts that are inextricably linked. They represent a harmonious interaction of the object and the subject, as a result of which mankind receives essential knowledge about the surrounding world. Civilized people at all times interested in the importance of creativity in a person's life. There is historical evidence that people raised this issue even in the ancient period. It was then that such definitions as cognition and creativity first appeared. Philosophy appeared later and confirmed the truth about the fact that a person continuously studies the surrounding world and thereby develops. As the consciousness of people grew, they were more and more interested not simply in the problems of being, but in the origin of the world and in the role played by cognition and creativity in this process. The famous thinkers of that time made interesting attempts to define the essence of these concepts and their connection with the comprehension of the secrets of being. Dialectical-materialistic philosophy understood cognition not as a mirror reflection or passive contemplation, but as a process of active and creative reflection of reality. Here the person acts as a public subject, which really influences the course of historical reality.

At present, in connection with the continuous flow of the latest information and innovations in science and social relations, there is a need to creatively approach the solution of scientific and technical problems. Cognition and creativity in this aspect are the most important factors that activate the personality and make it unfold more fully. In general, this contributes to the achievement of the ultimate goal.

If we consider such a question as the formation of numerous sciences and various types of art, it becomes clear that one of the main roles here played cognition and creativity. Philosophy subsequently systematized the results of a person's search. She was able to summarize the knowledge and gave the opportunity to determine their relationship.

The basis of the theory of knowledge are sociology, anthropology, ethics, culturology, and also hermeneutics. It would seem that with the accumulated experience of mankind for many millennia, taking into account historical prerequisites, complete harmony was to come in modern society. However, we are actually observing the crisis of modern personality, which is due to the universal unification of integrative processes, and this is happening on a global scale and is due to the fact that the society is developing with an technogenic bias. Despite the fact that cognition and creativity has always been the driving factor in the development of society, today we are faced with a clear crisis of creation, which was formed as a result of the growing spiritual vacuum. Overcoming this situation can be a focused emphasis on the importance of spirituality for the harmonious development of man and society as a whole.
