Carp fishing on the spring

Carp - one of the largest fish, giving the name to the whole family. Among amateur-anglers, carp fishing is very common for a spring. Among the trophies caught with the help of this simple adaptation, there are quite large specimens.

Among fish of the Cyprinidae family, this fish is distinguished not only by its size, but also by its excellent taste, because, thanks to the abundance of blood, carp meat tastes like beef to taste. Most often, carp is caught not for consumption, but because of sporting interest. After all, carp hunting is a very fascinating activity, it's not just fishing, it's a match for equals, and without any compromises. This fish is sharp and careful. It often swims to the top, so to the place of bait carp should be approached very carefully, stealthily, and not in full growth. And if there is no natural protection on the shore, for example, bushes, then it is necessary to do artificial camouflage.

You can catch carp as a living bait, for example, larvae of insects or earthworm, as well as vegetable, for example, corn, beans or peas. Bean plants, although similar to the natural food of carp, are considered an additional bait. Catching carp on peas brings a quick and stable result, but it is still used only from time to time. Peas are prepared for the nozzle in several ways. It is first soaked, and then poured into a nylon bag, poured a little water and cooked on low heat with various flavors, such as bay leaves or dill seeds, but you can do without them. Some prefer to cook peas and in the oven in a glass jar filled with water and covered with an iron lid. As soon as the water evaporates, and the peas slightly blush - the bait is ready.

For the bottom fishing of this fish there are special gears: a box, a mackintosh. It is very common to catch carp on a spring. The spring is a tackle made of steel wire 1.8-2 millimeters thick, coiled into a spring 15 centimeters in diameter. The resulting spring should be folded by a donut with a diameter of approximately 45 millimeters. To the bagel, six leashes are attached from the line, which can withstand a load of up to twenty kilograms. The length of the leashes should be 6-8 centimeters. Do not use too small hooks. Since the spring is heavy enough, the additional sinker is not used. The spring can be thrown far enough, about 60 meters from the shore.

Catching carp on the spring is only used in such water bodies where the current is weak or not at all. The bait is prepared as follows. In the middle of a donut, a lure is cooked from a pre-cooked porridge in which three hooks are stuck. Above the bagel also stuck to the porridge and carefully hide the remaining three hooks. Instead of porridge, you can use boiled dough or cake. To know that there was a bite, at the end of the rod tied small bells. For the smell, sometimes add a little sunflower oil.

Catching carp on a spring is usually used at night. Having got on the hook, the fish always fiercely resists in the first minute, so that the carp does not stop, you do not need to drag it. He was given a walk so that he was tired, and then without any special effort he was led to the shore and pulled out with a help of a podsacheka.

In the past, a very popular way in our country was to catch carp on makuhu. Makuha is a cake, which is obtained from sunflower after pumping oil. Usually take a piece of cake the size of a matchbox and stuck into the corners of the four hooks. In the center of the makuhi, a sinker in the form of a lead cone is pushed and thrown into the water. With this method of catching very often hooks are detected by the gills and severely injure the fish, so this method of catching is considered barbaric and in the West it is prohibited. Now in the West more and more humane way of catching carp for boilies is spreading . This method is increasingly being used in our country, gradually replacing the old ways of catching.

Sometimes carp catch on completely artificial nozzles, for example a foam or a stopper.
What causes carp to swallow them is not entirely clear. Maybe this fish is too inquisitive? Whatever it was, but still catching carp on artificial nozzles is ineffective. In general, in the work with nozzles experienced fishermen have many tricks with which they manage to catch a large carp.
