Candidiasis of the intestine: causes, features of development and treatment

Candidiasis of the intestine is a disease of the mucous membrane, which is caused by fungi of a yeast-like species called Candida. These microorganisms live in almost any environment. They can be found in the soil, and on the skin of vegetables, fruits, even on home furniture and a toothbrush. Of course, these organisms live in the intestine, being part of a healthy microflora.

However, when it starts to decrease the number of beneficial bacteria, Candida take their place and multiply rapidly. Candidiasis of the intestine is also called a complex form of dysbiosis.

It is very dangerous to develop this disease in children, because as a result of its occurrence they lag behind in development, active weight loss and slowing of growth begin.

There are several main factors, in the presence of which the risk of developing this disease significantly increases:

  1. Improper nutrition and environmental degradation.
  2. Causes of a physiological nature: pregnancy, severe nervous overexertion, newborns and small children's age, as well as old age.
  3. Any chronic diseases, especially in the field of digestive organs.
  4. Diabetes.
  5. Diseases that lead to exhaustion of the body.
  6. Prolonged intake of antibiotics and hormonal drugs.
  7. HIV infection.

Invasive and non-invasive forms are types of a disease that has candidiasis of the intestine.

Symptoms of the non-invasive form are as follows: diarrhea, intestinal flatulence, loose stool with an admixture of white flakes of curdled consistency. A person has a constant feeling of incomplete emptying after defecation. The general condition of patients with candidiasis is not violated.

Invasive candidiasis develops in those people who suffer from a severe form of suppression of immunity.

Diagnosis of intestinal candidiasis consists of a complex laboratory study: factors that provoke the development of the disease, its signs are determined, and the results of bacterial inoculation are examined. In order to choose the correct method of treatment of the disease in each specific case, a comprehensive examination is conducted, in which all diseases of the patient are examined, and the risk of development of possible side effects is calculated. Due to the fact that dysbiosis and candidiasis are caused by the same problems, the methods for eliminating these diseases are almost identical.

Candidiasis of the intestine is treated with the use of drugs that contain bifidobacteria. They help to significantly reduce the level of fungus in the stool. Bifidobacteria help restore the natural microflora by natural means, and also provide nourishment to the epithelium of the mucous membrane and restore the functioning of the intestine.

However, it is important to remember that the appointment of taking these or other medications is purely individual, because self-treatment is strictly prohibited.

Candidiasis of the intestine is also treated with folk medicine. So, do not forget that you need to consume as much blueberries, blueberries and honeysuckle, as well as cabbage of any kind, leafy vegetables, lettuce and greens.

Regularly every morning (immediately after sleep) you need to clean your teeth and mouth from white plaque. Then it is recommended to rinse your mouth with a solution of drinking soda or blue iodine. Then it is best to eat a few cloves of garlic (gradually increasing its number to 12 pieces) or carrot salad with garlic. After this meal, refrain from meals for several hours.

In conclusion, we should note that during the treatment of the disease it is necessary to increase immunity, and to temper the organism. When choosing procedures, you need to take into account age, physiological capabilities and concomitant diseases. After taking antibiotics, you need to restore the microflora with medicinal herbs, as well as balanced nutrition.
