Bottle tree is one of the most interesting and unusual plants on the whole planet. It grows in many hot countries, but the most unique of all species is the Socotran Adenium, which is located on the island of Socotra, located near the coast of Somalia. This place is original, because it is completely isolated from the outside world. Local nature is more like a fairy-tale galaxy.

Bottled tree from this island is radically different from its counterparts from other continents. Like all the trees in Africa, it has bizarre shapes that are created because of a lack of moisture. Since the bottle tree comes from warm countries, it is best to put it in a sunny place, but the rays should not be straight, but scattered, otherwise they can burn the leaves.

In the summer, valleys should be watered once a week, and in winter - once a fortnight. The plant will tolerate more drought than the heavily moistened soil, so watering should be done when the land dries dry.

In nature, bottle trees grow very large, in the room they usually do not exceed 2 m in height. The leaves are very long and narrow, quite strong, sometimes they twist, making a rather unusual bottle-tree. Nolina care also provides for maintaining a certain temperature. In the summer she is able to endure any heat, but in winter the temperature should not fall below 10 ° C. If the room is too cold, then the plant is better not to water at all.

Nolin is best planted in heathy soil or a substrate for cacti. The surface of the soil must be covered with small pebbles, since in the homeland the tree prefers stony ground. If the trees start to dry leaves, then you need to periodically spray them, and also put it on a pallet with wet pebbles.

Bottle tree responds well to feeding, but it is important not to overdo it. You can not even fertilize the plant, but then its growth will noticeably decrease. You can transplant valine in spring, but not very often, and when the old pot is too small. Quite often it is planted in the manner of bonsai. Bottle tree will be an excellent decoration of any room.
