The drug "Bicillin 5" is included in the group of penicillins. This antibiotic is not resistant to penicillinase (an enzyme produced by certain bacteria). The drug is available in the form of powder for injection.

The mechanism of action of the drug "Bicillin 5" is the violation of the synthesis in the cell membrane of peptidoglycan - mucopeptide. This leads to inhibition (slowing down) of the synthesis of the cell wall of the microorganism, suppression of reproduction and growth of bacteria.
