Biography

Ben Bruce was born in 1988, on October 31, in Ashford, that in the UK. When the boy was six years old, he went with his sister and parents to Dubai. Asking Alexandria

Ben Bruce, after his move to England, again organized a group that got the name we already know. The musician met Danny Worsnop. Initially, it was planned that Ben would be a vocalist, and his new friend would be a guitarist, but it turned out the other way around. A little later, Ryan Binns and Joe Lancaster joined the band. However, they quickly left the group. In 2009, on September 15, the debut album of the renewed group was published. The work was called Stand Up and Scream. The album brought the band a lot of popularity. The second disc Reckless & Relentless appeared in 2011, on April 5. It already included elements of directions of heavy metal and hard rock. The third album From Death to Destiny appeared in 2013, on August 6. Here you can hear the elements of the metalcore. In 2015, on January 23, Danny Worsnop, the vocalist, left the band to fully concentrate on his own hard rock project called We Are Harlot. In 2015, on May 27, Ben announced that Denis Shaforostov was the new member of the group. It's about the vocalist of the Russian-Ukrainian metalcore band called Down & Dirty. Before, he also played Make Me Famous. Immediately a new track was released called I Will not Give In. He became the first work in which Denis participated. Ben, in turn, noted that the fourth album of the band will appear in the summer. However, this did not happen. The record was released in 2016, March 28, and was named The Black.

Solo career and projects

Ben Bruce said that he was going to record his own album. Soon was released a cover version of the song Shake It Out, which was created by the group Florence and the Machine. In one of the interviews, the musician said that the new album will not have too heavy melodies and will be based on classic rock and roll. In addition, the author stressed that this work was influenced by Keane and Oasis. Ben Bruce in 2011 created his own clothing line. It is produced under the brand name BB Clothing. In 2013, this project was frozen, but the author claims that the new collection will still be published. In 2014, our hero, together with Kyle Borman, created the label KBB Records. The project was joined by a group called Scare Do not Fear. The team made this decision, because it feared that other labels would affect the sound. Group

Asking Alexandria - a group of our hero - comes from York. It is curious that the first staff did not perform outside their city. When other members of the group were gathered, our hero urged fans not to confuse these projects. According to him, these are two different groups, despite his presence and name. The collective toured the United States and Great Britain most widely. The composition changed several times. The group cooperated with Sumerian Records. She performed in joint concerts with other famous metalcore bands. The team took part in the festivals Bamboozle, Thrash and Burn, Groezrock. After the release of the debut album with Sumerian Records, a full-fledged contract was concluded. The band's first video was filmed for The Final Episode.
