The hernial bandage is a device used in therapy and surgery. It is designed to prevent the passage of the intestinal loop into the scrotum. Operations with hernias of inguinal and scrotal localization are fraught with various complications. Consequences can arise both during the intervention itself and after it. In some cases, surgical intervention is not possible, due to concomitant pathologies or because of the elderly patient. And then palliative methods are of great importance.

What does the hernia groin consist of?

The device includes a fastening element and a clamp. The latter has a triangular profile and a similarly shaped contact surface. The clamp is monolithic. The shape of the fastening element is formed by stiffening belts and looks like melting. Due to the combination of an elastic dense packing and a strong rigid base, the clamping is monolithic. Its contact surface is made with a slight convexity.

The hernial bandage reduces the probability of bulging pathological formation from the peritoneum to a minimum. Together with this, a purposeful influence on the problem area and the dispersed tissues is provided, their fusion is accelerated. When the condition is started, relief is noted on the second or third day of wearing such a device as a hernia bandage. The responses of many patients contain information that the improvement occurs three to four months after the start of its use (although only if the stage of the disease is initial). At the started state recovery comes a little bit longer - in 8-10 months. The design, thus, not only ensures the retention of the bulge in the peritoneum, but also eliminates the risk of its infringement, as well as ensures the intergrowth of the ruptured tissues.
