In addition to gold, the Baimak district is one of the few where the population is mostly Bashkirs. They are more than 80%. The rest is shared by Russians and Tatars, only 1% are other peoples. These data show how the area is rich in indigenous people. It is here that the Bashkir traditions have been preserved to this day.

Also in this region are the villages, for example, Temyasovo is inhabited by more than 3.5 thousand people.

Especially here two lyceums are advancing - Baimak lyceum-boarding school and Bashkir republican computer lyceum in Itkulovo. These schools are equipped with all necessary equipment, are actively supported by the government, many innovations are being studied. Specialists-teachers give a highly qualified basic education. In addition to gifted children, adolescents are supported here, for some reasons left without their parents.
