An attempt to understand what treason is

It is most difficult for a person to understand the issues of morality and morality. Let's try to understand what it is. Morals are the rules that people and society set themselves. According to the implementation of these norms, society evaluates a person. Morality is the internal principles that a person sets himself. These two types of rules often do not coincide.

So, what is betrayal? It is an act of man, undermining the trust shown to him. The goal of betrayal is to use the other as a means to achieve one's personal desires. More often than not, talking about this immoral and immoral act, remember the traitorous fate of Jesus Christ, the betrayal of Judas. The name of the latter became a household name, and his kiss and a fee of 30 coins - a symbol of insidiousness and treason.

Probably, many of us know well what treason is. Few people have never betrayed anyone, maybe, accidentally, because of frivolity, because of an unsuccessful combination of circumstances or error. Others are familiar with the pain experienced as a result of such an unpleasant act by the closest people, whose trust was endless, as to themselves, and on which very much depended.

Let's try to understand what treason is. What forces a person to go against his own morals? If it is committed in the conditions of military operations, in a dramatic, dangerous situation, then betrayal is the only opportunity to stay alive and rid yourself of physical torture, condemning to moral suffering. More often the basis becomes more mundane and vulgar reason - not to create to itself superfluous troubles. Well, and very often very often the meeting reasons - career, money, social position and so on.

Can a man who knows what treason is, forgive a Judas? What is possible to forget and what is not? There can be many questions. For example, if I forgive, will I be forgiven? If so, what exactly? No one can give answers to these questions and guarantee justice.

Based on the human point of view, there is an unforgivable betrayal and deeds, to ask for forgiveness for which, it is simply impossible from a moral point of view. But what kind of actions is it-depends on many and many circumstances of the place, time, and so on.

But if we consider these issues from the Gospel point of view, then we can forgive any betrayal, even the most serious. And the traitor should not count on the forgiveness of his sin, but he can hope. Since Jesus, through his tragic fate, has already redeemed all our unrighteous deeds, our task is only to repent, that is, to change internally and not to commit them any more. On these truths the biblical teaching is based.

For the Judas, the results of his act are no less painful than the torments of a man devoted to them. If the villain repents and is strangled by shame (especially when the consequences of the draft are irreversible), is there consolation for him? Christianity says that for a person with an atheistic consciousness, consolation is difficult and almost impossible to find. Such a traitor usually defends himself against cynicism, aggression, or falls into a tear that breaks his inner pain. These people often commit direct suicide or a gradual: they start using drugs or alcohol. Both, both the traitor and his victim, can choose the same way of treating their spiritual pain. Moreover, it is conditioned by the national tradition.

To a religious person, mental pain can ease the consciousness that consolation is possible. And if he caused the death of a man, then Christianity teaches that the soul of the victim is alive. Therefore, the traitor can pray for salvation to this soul, thereby taking care of his own. In addition, the repentant Judas can help the family of the deceased by any means available to him.
