Medifox is an antiparasitic drug. The drug has anti-pedicidal, insecticidal activity. The agent contributes to the violation of channels in the membranes of nerve cells in insects, provokes a paralyzing effect. The drug is active against nits, sexually mature individuals and flea larvae, pubic and head lice, mites (scabies including) and other arthropod ectoparasites. After a single treatment of the affected surfaces, the action of the drug is maintained for 2-6 weeks (according to the form used). As anti-scratch, the agent is effective after use once. The drug is not toxic to the human body and when applied at a therapeutic dose it does not have a sensitizing, local irritant, skin-resorptive effect.

Contraindications

Dosing regimen

The solution is applied with a cotton swab. Affected areas are abundantly moistened by rubbing the medicine. Per person, the consumption is from 10 to 60 ml. The head is covered with a kerchief after application. Forty minutes later, the medicine is rinsed under running warm water, using a shampoo or soap. To remove dead parasites, comb your hair with a comb. When a parasite is detected one week after treatment, the drug is used repeatedly. If there is a risk of infection, it is recommended to apply the product after washing the head and leave it after drying on the hair. Activity MediFox (the instruction indicates this) is maintained for fourteen days. The cream with scabies is rubbed with massage movements into the skin from head to toe. For an adult patient, 30 g is enough. Children are treated especially carefully with whiskey, forehead, and the scalp. Eight to fourteen hours after the procedure, the drug is washed off. With the development of itching, fourteen days after the treatment, the medication is used repeatedly.
