Amino acids are special organic compounds

What are amino acids? These are special organic compounds. The amino acid molecule consists of both amines and carboxyls. They are crystalline substances, dissolve well in water. Amino acids are a kind of microscopic bricks, of which proteins are built. In addition, they serve as a transmitter of nerve impulses and contribute to the proper performance of their functions with vitamins and minerals. Some of them take part in the process of direct supply of energy to muscle tissue.

So, amino acids are compounds that are simply necessary for most living organisms, including humans. In addition to being a building material from which proteins are made, they perform a number of other important functions. Free amino acids are part of the muscle tissue. Most of these substances are synthesized in the liver. However, some amino acids are not produced in the body, and therefore a person should receive them at the time of ingestion. What kind of food is rich in these elements? Regularly eat cereals, vegetables, fruits, bread. It is worth paying special attention to products such as potatoes, rice, buckwheat, beans, peas and rye. Do not forget about the proteins of animal origin, because they contain all the amino acids necessary for the life of the body. Flour products should be combined with meat or fish. It is important to prepare dishes that would contain both cereals and milk. Proteins of animal origin are generally more valuable than vegetable proteins.

Those amino acids that are not produced in the body are irreplaceable. In total there are eight such substances. If at least one of the essential amino acids is absent in the body, the synthesis of proteins ceases. And this already leads to serious disorders - digestive disorders, chronic depression. The child's growth in this case may slow down or even stop. Even if you eat regularly, this is not a guarantee that all irreplaceable amino acids will be produced in your body. What can lead to a halt in their production? There can be a variety of reasons for this: trauma, infection, problems with absorption in the gastrointestinal tract, imbalance of some nutrients, severe stress, and others. Irreplaceable amino acids - this is what is vital for the functioning of the body. They not only participate in the process of protein formation, but also regulate body weight. For children, eight, and ten elements are irreplaceable.

The most deficient are the following substances: lysine, tryptophan, methionine. The second one is found in eggs, cheese, meat, fish and cottage cheese. Lysine is found mainly in milk. In smaller quantities it is found in meat, legumes, cheese, cottage cheese and egg yolks. The main supplier of methionine is dairy products.

Amino acids in our time can be taken not only with food, but also in the form of special biological supplements. How to choose the right products? Prefer to those additives that contain L-crystalline amino acids. They are the most active participants in the metabolic processes.
