Alexei Slyusarenko - Priest And Provocator

The current situation of the Russian Orthodox Church is difficult to call successful: in addition to the remaining low percentage of parishioners from among the population, the church structure was recently tried to be shaken from the outside by numerous scandals, intrigues, accusations. But, as it turned out, the church can have not only an external enemy, but also an internal enemy. One of the vivid examples of the destructive representative within the church itself was priest Alexei Slyusarenko.

An employee in the glorious city of Lugansk, with a rich schismatic past, the priest could not but become saturated with "freedom-loving" ideas. At the same time, he occupies a rather significant position in the ranks of the ROC: he is a representative of RACIRS in Lugansk region and a teacher of the local theological university. So what did this priest remember, what attracted attention?

And he was remembered, first of all, according to the apt expression of professor of the Lugansk University Olga Vasilievna Borisova "an attempt to" make "a nonsense on the head of a scientist." As it turned out, in free from educational and other matters, priest Alexei Slyusarenko likes to read different books and write reviews on them, completely without thinking - and whether the peer-reviewed literature is within the competence of his knowledge. And judging by the opinions of Professor Olga Borisova - not always:

"However, when I saw that about. Alexius Slyusarenko posted his, as he thinks, "very critical" review of my manual on the website www.ukrsekta.info, as the spark of hope went out. It became clear: o. Alexy pushes me into sectarians a priori. And on what basis, let me ask, does the tip (no matter what content it is, about this below) on the EDUCATIONAL HANDBOOK is placed among the critical materials about the activities of the sects? I did not create any sects and I do not intend to. I teach, not preach. I am a recognized scientist, and you, my opponent, who are you to take the right to mold your subjective labels on me? "

A few words worth mentioning about the beloved father of Alexei website www.ukrsekta.info. According to many journalists, the founder and leader of this website, Noskov V., disgraces the title of journalist by publishing rudely altered and provocative materials on his website that are not deserving of attention, and Noskov's opponents are called to deprive him of the title of journalist and to forbid him any publicistic activity. And it is on the site of the crook and slanderer that priest Alexei Slyusarenko prefers to post his "reviews".

But let's return to Professor Olga Borisovna. In her reply to the priest, entitled "ANSWER TO MOSCOW POPE ON ITS" ONE "TO MY EDUCATIONAL HANDBOOK ON THE HISTORY OF CHRISTIANITY IN UKRAINE", in detail and consistently describes in what way Father Alexey is not right in his response to the scholarly work of Olga Borisovna. It turns out that the professor can not agree with any proposal of the priest, or at least regard this as constructive criticism :

"So, the response (and in fact the most that neither is libel) about. Alexia is called "The Curious History of Christianity in Ukraine from Professor Olga Borisova." This very "Funny story ..." attracts attention. It's strange. And what did such a funny person see in my EDUCATIONAL HANDBOOK my opponent? Yes, and the very content of his "recall" is far from hygiene and hahakany, which, in principle, should have been, if the text of my manual contained at least something funny. But no joke-snatches in the text of the review about. Alexia and not close. The priest tries to conduct with the doctor of sciences, the professor of the dispute on a number of theological and historical problems. Everything is normal, what kind of "fun"? But if for him, for a minute - the PRIEST, this subject of the dispute is "FUN", then I immediately have questions about his professional competence and bewilderment - to those who appointed him to be "representative of the Russian Association of Centers for the Study of Religions and Cults in Lugansk Region ".

Incompetence of the priest, who undertook to argue with the recognized doctor of science, does not cause the slightest doubt. Another question arises: what is the purpose of Father Alexei Slyusarenko, writing "devastating reviews" in which he makes a lot of unreasonable claims to various writers? This question can also be answered by our respected Olga Borisovna:

"And yet: what is the" amusement "of my manual? The fact that it is still the only one in Ukraine? It's NOT NORMAL: Christianity in Ukraine is more than 1000 years old, and there are NO allowances for students in its history. Except for mine. Opponent wanted the name of his opus, as well as his posting on the sect's website, I just "omit". But it's not so easy to do. I am very disgusted, very, and I know how to protect my work. "

In addition, the articles of his father Alexei are simply full of appeals to scientific communities. In particular, the well-known and authoritative Ukrainian Uzhhorod Theological Academy, whose diplomas and degrees are recognized throughout the world, the priest accuses of undeservedly awarding these same degrees, equating all Uzhgorod theology with plagiarism, simultaneously blaming in negligence and complicity such a state of affairs of the UOC-MP, Implanting latent autocephalous ideas. It is quite obvious that for the group of hidden autocephalists, the mouthpiece of which is priest Alexei Slyusarenko, there is only their Lugansk University. VI Dal, the teacher of the department of applied philosophy and theology of which he is. According to the father of Alexei, the Ukrainian national theological science, of which he is a representative, is much more authoritative and more objective than the Moscow Patriarchate of the UOC, in whose department there are many spiritual schools.

If Father Aleksey was not strong in criticizing scientific literature, can he be a prominent theologian? Unfortunately, and here we get a "finger in the sky." The views of the schismatologist are characterized by an extreme degree of liberalism, and sometimes even a complete lack of knowledge in the field of theology, about which he speaks - which, however, is not surprising, based on the above.

One of the essential aspects of the life of every Orthodox Christian is fasting. Fasting is an apostolic institution, and the example of fasting was shown to us by the Lord Jesus Christ himself who did not eat anything in the desert for 40 days. According to the teaching of the Orthodox Church, the post is three-fold: prayer, spiritual work and physical abstinence. If at least one component of the post is discarded, then the whole post is defiled. But what he writes about the celebration of the new year (that for a holiday like this - the change of the calendar - it is difficult to understand, especially for the Orthodox Christian) Alexei Slyusarenko:

"Before the revolution, the Christmas holiday was celebrated at the beginning, and then the New Year, as it happens all over the world, after the introduction of the new calendar, this discrepancy turned out. Therefore, the problem of the New Year always stands. If the family is all Orthodox, the New Year is greeted with a fast table. And if there are people in the family who do not fast, then the Orthodox is recommended to share with them the meal that is prepared for the sake of peace in the family. "

Thus, in addition to the fact that the priest approves the very fact of celebrating the "change of the calendar on the wall," so he also blesses to break the fast! There are many examples when allowance is made for fasting for the sick, sick or pregnant. But to abolish the post for the sake of celebrating the new year - the Orthodox Russian Church did not yet know such a disgrace.

Another interesting view of the priest we find in his appeal is not to celebrate March 8 - women's day - in the days of Lent:

"The origin of the holiday is important, and the history of March 8 is directly related to the theomachist rebellion that was in our country in 1917. The founders of this holiday, Clara Zetkin and Rosa Luxemburg, were conscious warlike atheists and this is all very tempting for an Orthodox person," - Stressed Father Alexei - to celebrate the holiday on March 6 is one of the possible ways out. "

Like this. Despite the apparent contradiction of the very idea of March 8 to the Orthodox worldview, we are invited to still celebrate this "holiday" a few days earlier. So, therefore, it was possible to celebrate the date of the God-struggling rebellion properly. But even more surprising is that the representative of RACIRS and the learned theologian has not the slightest idea about the article of Andrei Kurayev, professor of the Moscow Theological Academy of the Deacon, about the holiday on March 8, in which he directly speaks not only of the direct relation of this day to the triumph of militant atheism, but also conducts A detailed study of the history of the celebration and finds that the holiday of March 8 has its roots in Jewish history as a day of remembrance of massacres against the enemies of the Jews and the deliverance of the latter in this way from imminent death.

How can the day of memory of the victory of atheism in Russia and, in combination, the Jewish national holiday treat Orthodoxy can only guess. Apparently, in the mind of priest Alexei Slyusarenko such concepts are combined with ease.

The last thing I would like to note in the "theology" of the priest is his opinion on piety in the church:

"No one forbids a woman to wear women's pants. Personally, I do not expel anyone for trousers from the temple and I do not make comments, "Alexey Slyusarenko said during an online conference on the site Cxid.info.

At once the phrase "women's pants" rushes into the eyes. What kind of clothes is this? It's incomprehensible, especially considering that in Russia women always wore dresses, at the worst, skirts, and trousers appeared in the Soviet era in the period of intense emancipation and women's striving for equality. In addition, in the apostle Paul we read that it is not worthy for a man to wear women's clothing, as well as for a woman - for men. If we can not influence public norms in clothing, then at least observe the apostolic institutions on this score. Today we are allowed to come to women in men's pants, and tomorrow we will let men go to the temple in dresses? This practice is unacceptable for maintaining church discipline and purity.

From all of the above, one very simple conclusion suggests itself. Priest Alexei Slyusarenko deals with scientific issues outside his competence, while trying to expose the doctors of science with nothing meaningful within their own specialization. Father Alexey demonstrates obvious failures in theological knowledge and education, at the same time he is a schismologist and a member of RACIRS and propagandizes his delusions through the media. Who are you, Alexei Slyusarenko? In the actions of the priest, one can discern an explicit schismatic orientation, a desire for ecclesiastical separation, hidden autocephalism. This clergyman sows discord in the ranks of the Russian Orthodox Church, which is only to the benefit of numerous divisive organizations already attacking Orthodoxy every day. Let the Lord know his erring child, the priest Alexei Slyusarenko!
