Alexandra Zavyalova is an actress whose name was widely known in the 60's. This beautiful woman was happy to shoot photographers of both Soviet magazines and foreign ones. The directors offered Zavyalova exclusively the main roles. And then everything ended on the same day and the actress disappeared forever from the screens. Why?

Alexandra Zavyalova: biography. early years

Alexandra was born in February 1936 in the Tambov region. Virtually nothing is known about her childhood, about the hobbies of the future actress. It is only known that Alexandra Zavyalova graduated from the Leningrad Theater Institute in 1958 and moved to Brest to work for distribution to the local theater. However, the young actress with exotic appearance showed herself very well in the graduation performance "Marriage" and she was regularly received proposals for filming a movie.

Alexandra refused for a long time, because she wanted to focus only on her work in the theater. But in 1959, the actress could not resist and for the first time gave her consent to the shooting.

Films 1959

Alexandra Zavyalova debuted in the film "The Song of Koltsov", where she immediately got the lead role.

In the center of the story is a biography of the famous Russian poet Alexei Koltsov, or rather a segment of life that fits in the 30s. XIX century. Koltsov's biography is notable for the fact that almost all his life the poet devoted to entrepreneurship, continuing the family business (which is not peculiar for writers). The only outlet for Alexei was poetry and love for the serf girl, which was played by Alexander Zavyalov. But the main characters were separated by fate, Koltsov soon married an unloved woman, and after a while died at the age of 33 years.

Immediately after the role of Duni, a fatal beauty with black hair, like resin, offered another major role - in the drama "People on the Bridge". The heroine Zavyalova - an impromptu Lena. A woman is brave, beautiful, with a certain past (the heroine has an illegitimate child). She attracts the attention of the young son (Oleg Tabakov), the chief of the bridge construction (Vasily Merkuriev). This relationship becomes a talk of the town. The heroine Zavyalova turns into an evil genius for the intelligent Bulygin family. In the final picture Lena dies, saving the lives of others.

I must say that after the role of the temperamental Lena, for the actress, the role of the "poor woman" was fixed. And all of her subsequent heroines were no less strong, attractive, but in some ways dangerous.

Films of the 1960s.

Alexander Zavyalov in the 60's was very popular. In many ways, thanks to the role of Zinka from the melodrama "Aleshkina love." Then the partner of the actress on the set was Leonid Bykov ("Only old men go to battle"). He played the same Alyoshka, who was crazy about Zinaida's switchman. Zavyalova in one of her few interviews recalled that the actor's wife was very jealous of her and was constantly present on the set.

Still not to be jealous: a photo of Alexandra Zavyalova flaunted not only on the covers of the "Soviet screen", but even in the American magazine "Life". American journalists called the actress Soviet Greta Garbo, and Russian directors offered the actress exclusively the main roles.

In the 60's on the screens with the participation of Zavyalov came such films as "Wait for letters" by Y. Karasik, "Bread and roses" F. Filippov, "Fro" R. Esadze and many other pictures. The actress was invited to dinner at the US Embassy and trusted her with the honorable mission of meeting foreign guests arriving at Soviet cultural events.

The last film projects in the career of an actress

However, it was the close interaction of the artist with foreigners, as well as the interest shown to her by foreign media, played a fatal role in the fate of Alexandra.

In the 65th KGB, Zavyalov was regularly summoned for questioning. A little later, the special services banned the director of Lenfilm to shoot the actress in his paintings. But Alexandra Zavyalova did not despair and continued to cooperate with other film companies.

In the 70's. Actress played her last role in the movie - Pistimei Morozova. This image became one of the most colorful in the Soviet cinema. The real name of Pistimei is Seraphim Klychkov. She is the heiress of a rich family, who is forced to hide under a false name in the Siberian taiga.

In the film, the heroine Zavyalova demonized, because of the aristocrats during the Soviet era, they said, either in no way, or badly. The actress threw more "firewood into the fire", masterfully performed her work, and on the screen in front of the viewer appeared the embodiment of evil. Given the label of "unreliability", which already predpovel over Alexandra, nothing good to expect was not necessary. The worst fears were justified: after the role of Pistimei Zavyalova blocked the course in any Soviet cinema.

Alexandra Zavyalova: personal life

The only official husband of the actress is the artist Dmitry Buchkin. From him at Zavyalov's daughter Tatyana was born.

Alexandra Zavyalova is an actress with an unforgettable appearance. And it was beauty that played a cruel joke on a woman. In 1964, in Odessa, she met with an American billionaire and accepted his courtship. Subsequently, the American was accused of espionage and expelled from the country, Zavyalova was forced to divorce Buchkin and was first put on interrogation with the KGB.

After the path to the cinema for the actress was blocked, she gave birth to a second child and began to lead a secluded lifestyle. Since that time little is known about Alexander.
