Agricultural Academy, Yekaterinburg (Ural State Agricultural Academy)

The Federal State Higher Educational Establishment of the Urals State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (formerly the USUA) lasted seventy-five years. This is by no means the only institution that "settled" far from the capitals for post-revolutionary decades: almost every major regional or regional city created polytechnic, medical, pedagogical institutes or their branches. For pre-university training, agricultural classes are organized in schools and lyceums. Annually more than 700 people study at this university, and they are trained in 30 schools located in 17 municipalities of the region.

Out of 400 teachers 18 percent of professors and doctors of sciences, 65 percent of candidates and associate professors. The University has 2 branches in Irbit and Krasnoufimsk, as well as 8 representative offices in the region: Bogdanovichi, Sukhoy Log, Rezh, Asbest, Pervouralsk, Nizhny Sergi, Zarechny, Artemovsky. Practical training is conducted in six special centers: "Veterinary Clinic" , "Maintenance and repair of machines", "Training apiary" and others. Material base

In Beloyarsky district there is a university educational and experimental farm, where a greenhouse complex is located on twelve land plots with an area of more than 270 hectares, a training park of agricultural machinery - over 200 units of equipment. There is also a scientific and production base of the Urals State University, in which there are departments and research laboratories, innovation centers, a publishing house, an agrotechnopark, functioning scientific and technical councils.

The planted garden of fruit and berry and medicinal plants with 3,500 shrubs, berry crops and fruit trees is grown by teachers, employees and students.
