The native city of the actor is Dushanbe, where he was born in October 1977. Maslennikov Oleg - the son of a serviceman and housewives, the first years of his life were spent traveling. In the Russian capital, the family settled when the child turned 11 years old. The boy was lucky enough to become a pupil of the theatrical lyceum. Visiting him, he began to dream about the scene. Nevertheless, then Oleg did not abandon the intention to continue his father's business of becoming a soldier.

After graduating from the Lyceum, Maslennikov Oleg, fulfilling his promise to himself, joins the cadets of the tank-engineering school located in Omsk. However, his desire for creative life is still preserved. The young man becomes the organizer of a vocal-instrumental ensemble, concerts of which are quickly beginning to enjoy popularity in neighboring military garrisons. About a year and a half requires a guy in order to realize that he was mistaken with the choice of profession.

The first steps to success

After leaving the school, the young man makes an attempt to become a student at the Moscow Art Theater School, but it fails.
