He did not just fail at the box office, collecting in the US a little more than 12 thousand dollars, and in Russia about half a million with a budget of 18 million, but on top of that he was torn to pieces by professional film critics, and simple movie lovers took him extremely negatively.

The reason for this is a very weak plot, poor acting and directing. All this played a cruel joke with the creators of the film. This film became one of the worst works of John Piper-Ferguson in the cinema in recent years.
