As a consequence, the city center is turned into a tourist attraction, where every self-respecting local resident considers it his duty to offer endless tourists to buy some kind of trifle as a memory.

Virtually in all the central areas of the city, prices in shops and restaurants are much higher than in the outskirts. If you want to try real local cuisine, take a ride on the tram and go to the Brevnovsky Monastery, for example, there, at a local restaurant, you will be offered a famous soup in bread, a dark beer of your own preparation and a lot of local traditional hot dishes. There are a lot of private breweries, one of which we already mentioned. In general, it is extremely difficult to find bad beer in Prague. The price of a half-liter mug of excellent beer in a restaurant is usually twenty-five CZK or one euro. A bottle of local beer in the store costs about seven to ten kroons.

The center of Prague is traditionally considered the Charles Bridge. This pedestrian bridge over the Vltava, decorated with figures of saints, does not bypass any sightseeing tour of Prague. Even if you spend your vacation here for the first time, just come to Charles Bridge and orient yourself further, depending on what you are closer to.
