A purposeful process of education and training is the main part of the activity and purpose of the school

Educational and pedagogical processes as a goal-oriented phenomenon

In the Law "On Education" the very notion of "education" is interpreted as a purposeful process of education and upbringing aimed at the formation and upbringing of the individual, while respecting its interests, as well as the interests of the state and society. In this case, both concepts - "educational" and "pedagogical" process - are identified. But, it should be noted that, although they constitute an essential unity, they are not completely identical.

The educational process should always be understood as an educational one. The educational process, on the contrary, is not always pedagogical, because a person can successfully develop without the participation of a teacher.

The process of education serves as a unity of educational, self-educational and educational processes that are aimed at the development and upbringing of the individual.

Therefore, the educational process itself consists of two components - education and upbringing. In this connection, the purposeful process of education and upbringing consists in the fact that elements of upbringing are applied in the process of education, and the educational process is inconceivable without the training of those who are being educated. Both processes promote personality development, influence its emotions, consciousness, behavior.

It can be argued that the purposeful process of education and upbringing has its own specifics: if the content of education consists in obtaining scientific knowledge of the world, then in the educational process the main place is given to rules, norms, ideals, values. Training has an impact on the development of intelligence, education - on the need-motivational area and the behavior of the individual.

Thus, the purposeful process of education and upbringing brings together features that are characteristic of both education and upbringing:

- bilateral cooperation between the training and trainee;

- the main goal of the process is the formation of a personality, comprehensively developed and harmonious;

- the substantive and technological aspects of the process are closely interrelated;

- educational goals, the very content of education, the means to achieve the goals, the final result - all the structural elements of education are in close unity;

- The process provides for the implementation of three educational functions - developing, teaching and educational.

Optimizing learning as one of the aspects of the educational and upbringing process

For education and upbringing to be purposeful, one should also consider the aspect of optimizing the learning process . It provides for mutual cooperation between the teacher and students, which will make the training as effective as possible. However, neither the teacher nor the trainees should be overworked. If the teacher takes possession in all ways that contribute to the effectiveness of the learning process, he will be able to achieve high results, spending the same amount of time that the school program provides.

In order to optimize the learning process , the teacher should take into account the following:

- the tasks assigned to the learning process should be specified, and the planning of the educational material integrated;

- the content of the training material and its structure should be optimal and rational;

- the selection of methods and means of training should be directed to stimulating and motivating learning;

- It is necessary to combine general, individual and differentiated approaches to pupils;

- compulsory is the analysis of the time spent on training and the results achieved.

The essence of the literacy process

An important part of both primary and all school education is the literacy process . The methodology of this type of training is constantly working on finding effective methods of mastering the skills of written speech.

Literacy training for preschool children, as well as school children in primary and basic schools, provides for such directions in the development of children:

- mastering of reading and writing, reading, writing, listening and speaking;

- mastering the grammatical structure of speech, enriching the vocabulary - potential, active and passive;

- mastering the skills of spelling and punctuation literacy;

- formation of a language flair.

The goal of the literacy education process is laying the foundations for the formation of a literate personality, which recognizes itself as a native speaker, ensuring the improvement of speech development and language development of the student.
