ATAK ARMS CO., LTD (Turkey, Istanbul) specializes in production of very high quality weapons of various types: automatic, pneumatic, revolvers. Starting pistols "Zoraki 914" - this is not a combat pistol. Its direct purpose is to give a signal, a loud shot. It is not worth hoping for a signal as an absolutely reliable saving tool. Of course, a loud sound and a powerful cartridge at close range will do their job, but the owners of the Zoraki 914 pistol should bear in mind that it is prohibited to use it as a means of self-defense. Zoraki 914 is not a firearm. Its technical characteristics:

The starting pistol "Zoraki 914" was developed and manufactured by ATAC ARMS company by order of another Turkish firm Target Technologies.

Pistols are commercially available. The complete set can be a holster, usually a synthetic (wear-resistant material) with a thermoplastic insert (to give the desired shape).

Another model - "Zorak 914 S" - was sold in the post-Soviet space under different "names" and versions. There were several options: starting, gas, traumatic ("Streamer"). The latter were sold in Ukraine and Russia. After several loud scuffles with internal organs, his free sale was banned (in Ukraine). A starter analogue under the Stalker brand entered the market.

It is forbidden to make any changes in the design, violation of this rule entails responsibility before the criminal law.

Ammunition

To produce a shot from the starting pistol, use a blank cartridge - it does not have a bullet. On sale they can be found under the name of starting, signal or noise. During the shot, there is only a sound effect and a flame. The sound is quite loud, reaching 120 decibels.

The weapon shoots with empty cartridges of 9 mm, but when the plug is unscrewed (the manufacturer has foreseen this), it is possible to shoot signal rockets.

Such ammunition can be used for any 9mm pistol. As a rule, they are marked in green. In connection with the fact that the starting pistols do not need permission to purchase, then they can be bought with ammunition without any documents.

Benefits

Pneumatic weapons are popular all over the world. Many models can be purchased without special permission. "Zoraki 914" also does not apply to firearms, though not in all countries. The ability after the tuning to use the gun as a traumatic device limits its free sale.

This problem was quickly solved by the company's specialists. Some changes were made in the design of weapons that meet the requirements of the legislation of some countries: the throttle hole is closer to the chamber, and the barrel is poured with alloy.
