Wireless mouse - technologies used and their features

For a long time and firmly entered into our lives new technologies. What used to be a miracle today is everyday. Technologies do not stand still, technical devices are actively evolving. Such a familiar and simple, seemingly, device, like a computer mouse, has also undergone significant changes. Appearing in the early 60-ies of the last century, this type of manipulators has become much more convenient, faster and more accurate. The technologies that are used in their work have changed. Today there is a large selection of wireless mice already on the market, while a few years ago they did not even dream about it. There are several types of them, and in order not to make a mistake in choosing, you need to get a little acquainted with their features, pros and cons.

A wide range of optical and laser models are available. An optical wireless mouse costs a little less than a laser mouse, but this type of manipulator is becoming less popular - this is the past stage. The use of laser technology has made it possible to make the guidance much more accurate, and moving the cursor around the screen is faster, another thing is that high speeds are unnecessary and even hinder when working with office applications or graphic editors, but the fact remains - the laser wireless mouse is much more accurate and faster, less Is demanding on working surfaces. The disadvantage of this method of transmission is the need to use a manipulator in the line of sight from the receiver. A great example of using this technology is the wireless mouse A4Tech G7-200NX-1. This is an inexpensive, but at the same time, a reliable copy.

The most common way to transfer information from wireless handlers is through a Bluetooth or radio link. Both of these methods have both advantages and disadvantages. Usually Bluetooth is used in laptops - there is a built-in module. This does not mean that on a PC you can not install such a manipulator, you just have to buy the corresponding port. This method of connection ensures high reliability of the connection within the allowed distance.

And yet for stationary computers, radio radios are more often used. Such manipulators require the connection of a USB adapter. There are radio transmitters operating at two frequencies: 2.4 GHz and 27 MHz. Higher frequencies are more expensive, but they provide a longer range. True, interference can interfere - many devices operate at this frequency. A wireless mouse with a frequency of 27 MHz imposes certain restrictions on the range of communication, but it works steadily near the receiver.

Today the mouse is a computer wireless that uses Wi-Fi. This type of transmission provides the longest range - within the coverage of the network. But there is a drawback - this way of transmitting information is subject to interference.

As a power source, the wireless mouse can have batteries or batteries. Modern models can work on one set of batteries for up to 150 days with uninterrupted use. If you do not want to change batteries three or four times a year, buy batteries. You just need to charge them from time to time.
