What should I do if the flash player does not work?

If thirty years ago someone declared that the time will come when people will buy bottled drinking water, remotely operate, and watch high-quality video over the Internet, then such a person would not be much of a believer. But now all this seems quite natural. Computer technology is developing particularly fast. What still seemed fiction yesterday is quite familiar today. The speeds offered by providers now allow you to view not only video inserts on websites, but also full-fledged movies. To ensure that the data stream does not create too much load on the channels, the movies are encoded according to the flash technology offered by Adobe. Of course, there are other solutions (especially, given the statements about the possible termination of support), but at the moment still dominates the flush.

On the other hand, a simple user who when he started an online video suddenly saw that the flash player does not work, all this is of little interest. The main thing is that everything should function without failures, and how this is achieved, the second question. Today we will talk about why the flash player does not work and what to do in such cases.

Since this technology is network, the access to video on its basis is carried out through browser programs. Here are just some of them: Opera, Firefox, Chrome, Explorer. Of course, this list is not limited to, but now it is important to simply understand what is at stake. It is not difficult to guess that the working capacity of technology depends to a great extent on the features of processing the flow. So, quite often, users say that the flash player in the Opera does not work. In this case, just the above reason occurs: Presto engine, which is the basis of the browser, sometimes does not follow the standards when displaying the pages, hence the problems. Thus, if the flash player does not work in this program, then it will have to be changed to an alternative one. Of course, this recommendation is not always feasible. You can just wait for the new Opera, in which the engine will be replaced by Chromeium (the computer community expects this from version 14). As an option, you can try installing the latest version of the flash player. In addition, you should check the status of the OnDemandPlugin parameter in the configuration (opera: config) - everything must be activated.

Since this technology is often used to display advertising banners, many antiviruses simply block it. It is necessary to make sure that the settings of the protection program are correct. Also, some browser assemblies already contain modules that block the flash. To solve this problem, you should check if there is a similar module in the program you are using.

If the flash player does not work, it is possible that the browser has a conflict version. For example, in Chrome you need to type about: plugins and in the list of modules to deactivate unnecessary or outdated Flash. Accordingly, their total absence means that the technology will not work. In this case, you need to update the browser or install the necessary flash player module, previously downloaded from the Adobe website, in the operating system.
