What is the risk of stagnation of bile?

If you knocked yourself in the right hypochondrium and felt unpleasant sensations, this may indicate that you have problems with the liver or gall bladder. Cholangitis is one of the most common diseases in which the body itself begins to attack the bile ducts. As a result, they narrow, bile stagnation begins to develop, which then corrodes the hepatic tissue.

Let's look at the structure of the bile. Thus, all liver cells are equipped with bile ducts, which are connected to the ducts through which the substance of interest enters the bladder. When a person consumes food, an active reduction of this body occurs. The bile enters the duodenum in order to split the fats: split them into small particles, which will then be absorbed into the intestine. If its excretion does not occur, fats are not split and not digested.

When bile stagnation is formed, it begins to erode the ducts and liver tissue. In general, a person himself can detect signs of this disease. The symptomatology of bile stasis is as follows:

  1. A person begins to "feel" the liver, there is discomfort in this area.
  2. Weakness.
  3. Yellowness of the skin.
  4. Darkening of urine.
  5. Kal loses its color, becomes more pale.
  6. Itching and burning, which appear due to a reduction in the secretion of bile.

This is observed because stasis occurs, and the pigments of bile, for example, bilirubin, enter the blood. Therefore, the person turns yellow skin. Urine acquires a beer shade because bilirubin after filtration in the kidneys is in the bladder. And since bile does not enter the intestine, the feces do not stain and become colorless. Since stasis does not result in the assimilation of fat-soluble vitamins, it can cause osteoporosis - brittle bones.

Violation of the formation of bile and the violation of its outflow are the main factors that cause stagnation of bile. The reasons for the development of the first disease are as follows:

  1. The defeat of the liver is of a viral origin.
  2. Alcohol.
  3. Effect of drugs.
  4. Hit the liver toxic substances.
  5. Cirrhosis of the liver.
  6. Bacterial infection.

Violation of the outflow of bile may be triggered by tuberculosis, biliary arthritis or cirrhosis, sarcoidosis and other diseases.

In order to diagnose this stasis, a blood test and ultrasound are prescribed. If cholestasis (a violation of bile flow into the duodenum) has a neglected stage, the diagnosis establishes that the liver is enlarged, and nodes can form on the surface. If bile congestion in the gall bladder has started relatively recently, the organs are not yet enlarged in size.

If you have this disease, you need to follow a certain diet. First of all, you need to limit the consumption of animal fats and enrich your diet with vegetable fats. Further medical treatment, which is required, should be prescribed to you by the doctor according to the specifics of your disease.

Sometimes, when bile congestion leads to the development of multiple liver diseases, surgical intervention may be required. In this case, an endoscopic technique is used - seamless expansion of the ducts. However, this method is an extreme measure, which is used in the case of complete absence of the effect of conservative treatment. If a person listens to his body, he will know in time what is bothering him, and turn to a specialist (gastroenterologist or surgeon). Then the operation can be avoided.

Therefore, your main task is not to let things go by themselves and watch your own health, because everyone has one.
