Water manicure

Who came up with the idea of this method of applying varnish, remains a mystery. The main thing is that this idea appealed to most modern fashionistas and over the past two years has gained popularity.

The observer on the part of the technician may seem rather simple. However, despite the fact that the water manicure does not require professional skills, you still have to train. A few such samples (as a rule, first unsuccessful) will allow you to use the "game" of varnish with water and to "overflow" the paints (forming a pattern). As a result, you can give up expensive salons and do water manicure at home, independently. Realizing how paint works with such a unique combination, you can create both a floral ornament and bright futuristic lines.

So, what do you need to do a beautiful manicure at home? First, we prepare:

- a glass (plastic or paper) with water;
- a few varnishes (for a start two will suffice);
- Scotch tape (better paper);
- skewers (or wooden toothpicks);
- fixer (it is also called a color enhancer);
- Greasy cream;
- cotton wool.

Well, now, having collected the necessary, proceed directly to the process itself.

1. Any (including water) manicure begins with the preparation of hands. We remove the previous varnish, gently file the nails (shape, trim) and cover them with the base.

2. Seats around the nail plates grease with a fat cream (or pasted with adhesive tape). Subsequently, this method will help to cleanse without effort an eye-catching lacquer that has got on the skin of the hands.

3. Pour water into the glass. The temperature here is very important: it needs to be maintained within 39-41 ° C. Other temperature indicators will not allow drawing.

4. We drip into the water one of the prepared varnishes (just a drop) and wait. The varnish must spread out over the surface. Now add another varnish (also a drop), then - a drop of the third varnish. Here the picture is obtained from three drops. To begin with, that's enough. Afterwards you can use an unlimited number of different varnishes. Everything depends on the imagination and the desired effect.

5. Now, with a toothpick, gently draw on the surface, making the stains. The direction of the movements will depend on the picture itself. Two rules are important here: the toothpick is not immersed in the water too deep (only the tip) and is cleaned with cotton after each dive.

6. Now immerse the finger in the water (the nail "looks" down) and clean the toothpick by collecting varnish from the surface of the water (we do not remove the finger until we collect the varnish). So we transfer the resulting pattern to the nail.

7. Now, without touching the nail, carefully remove the adhesive tape and wipe the skin with varnish. The varnish from the inner surface of the nail also needs to be removed.

8. With the rest of the nails, all manipulations are identical. The second hand is better to move when the drawings on the first completely dry. Otherwise you will have to repeat the procedure first.

9. The last chord is the covering of the nails with a fixer. In the absence of it, the usual, clear lacquer is also suitable.

As you can see, water manicure is quite an entertaining activity, especially for the creative nature, but the ease and simplicity of the technique guarantee quick learning. The main desire.

It should be noted that such a manicure does not suit those people who have an acute shortage of time. This process is long and, in addition, an increased consumption of materials is required. But beauty, as is known, requires sacrifice.

In the end - some subtleties that will help you to master the technique of water manicure:

- Do not touch the walls of the cup of water with fingernails when lowering your fingers (the picture will deteriorate);
- use only liquid ("fresh") varnish;
- Watch the temperature of the water;
- do not forget to clean the toothpick after each immersion in water with a varnish;
- Before you take out your finger, collect the remaining varnish with a toothpick (it is easily screwed on the toothpick), otherwise the pattern on the nail will fade.

Good luck!
