And so badly he was in the morning, but he drank the water that the workers brought him, and it became much better for him. After this incident, the emperor ordered to extract mineral waters in Lipetsk.

The city named after Peter I

The symbol of Lipetsk is a monument to Peter I, which stands on the same square. The monument is rather monumental, Peter is portrayed somewhat boldly, he confidently steps forward, and this sight attracts the eye. Lipetsk is also called the city of terrorists, because it was here at the end of the XIX century that a congress of the People's Liberation Organization took place, the members of which later killed Emperor Alexander II. The monument to the Narodnaya Volya is located in the depths of the Lower Park.
