And in the evening, when from the hut of Pani Julia began to hear voices and singing to the guitar, he decided to stay alone and not meet a proud girl. And she did not leave it out of his head, forcing to feel a tight feeling in his chest. The accordion played, which attracted the hero to the house of the Pani. Unable to withstand, he went to the hut, determined to invite Zosia to dance. But the young man was disappointed. The smiling girl already danced with Vitka, and he told her something funny.

The hero came back and could not sleep, for he felt unhappy. "She does not care about me, and tomorrow she will forget about our acquaintance," he thought. And in the morning I found out that the girl had broken the guitar about Vitka when he wanted to kiss her. Thus ends the story of the second day in Novy Dvur Mantis.
