More successful was 2011: Victoria Azarenka was able to conquer the tournaments of Miami and Marbella. At Wimbledon, the fifth racket of the world at that time reached the semi-finals, so she moved to fourth place. In addition, she won in Luxembourg and even went to the final of the tournament.

But the best is 2012. Victoria not only conquered tournaments in Sydney, Indian Wales, Doha, but also won the first time the Grand Slam Championship. From that moment she became the first racket of the world, but she managed to keep this title only until the competition Roland Garros, where the victory went to Maria Sharapova. Already after Wimbledon, where Azarenka lost only in the finals, she managed to regain the first line of the rating. Last but not least, the results were affected by the deteriorating state of health of the athlete. Victoria Azarenka continues to play today, despite the difficult year of 2013. She prepares for tournaments and competes, although her legs are injured.

Personal life of the sportswoman

Whatever the successful tennis player, many are interested not only in her career, but also in the events that take place outside the court. Everyone is wondering whether Victoria Azarenka and Redfu - her young man, the famous DJ, who is actually called Stefan Gordi, got married. Their relations with the public became known in January 2013. At the same time, they met at the US Open-2012 tournament. Relations with them developed quite well. The couple did not even conceal their intentions about buying a joint property, which they planned to purchase in Australia, but nobody spoke about the wedding.

But the media slipped information that they plan to combine legal marriage in March 2014. And for the first time this information appeared in the Indian press. The wedding was to take place in this country, presumably in the city of Jaipur. Some even said that the marriage took place in an intimate atmosphere, in the presence of only a few friends.
