The drug "Katozal" instruction characterizes as a complex agent used in veterinary medicine. The composition of the medicine included cyanocobalamin, butophosphane, as well as water for injection and solbrol. The preparation is available as a solution for subcutaneous, intravenous, intramuscular injections and oral administration (in birds).

Characterizing the agent "Katozal", the instruction indicates its ability to tone the animal organism, exerting a stimulating effect on metabolic processes (fatty, carbohydrate, protein). The medicinal preparation strengthens the resistance (resistance) of the body to the influence of unfavorable factors, promotes normal development and growth.

The drug "Katozal" (reviews of veterinarians point to this) is a low-toxic agent, and therefore it is tolerated well enough by animals at different ages. The drug in recommended amounts does not have embryotoxic (negative effect on the fetus), teratogenic (causing disruption in development), sensitizing (increasing sensitivity), local irritant effect.

The drug is recommended to animals (birds, dogs, cats, cats and others) as a tonic at delivery and to prevent postpartum complications. The medicine is shown to horses with increased activity and overstrain before the competition (two to three days). For young animals the preparation "Katozal" recommends the instruction for strengthening of resistance to various pathological factors, as an additional tool for diseases provoked by insufficient magnesium and calcium content in the body, and also to increase muscular activity.

The medication is also used for antistress therapy, for the prevention (treatment) of metabolic disorders of various nature (against the background of poor conditions of detention, unbalanced nutrition, various diseases). The drug "Katozal" is indicated for stimulation of liver function in case of poisoning, with a lack of B-group vitamins (B12 including), in the treatment of anemia, in order to prevent sowing, decrease the moulting period and increase egg laying in birds. Medication is also prescribed for the prevention of cannibalism in pigs.

Orally (inside) the drug is used in birds. The remaining animals are administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly, slowly intravenously.

It is recommended to use the medication once a day for four to five days.

Single dose of the drug in acute forms of pathology in ml per liter of water: for laying hens - 2-3, for chickens - 1-1.5.

Dogs are injected with 0.5-5 ml of the drug; Cats - 0,5-2,5 ml, piglets - 1-2,5 ml, pigs - 2,5-10 ml, kids, lambs - 1,5-2,5 ml, goats, sheep - 2,5- 8 ml, foals, calves - 5-12 ml, cattle, horses - 10-25 ml.

When used in chronic pathologies, half of a single dosage is recommended. If it is necessary to carry out repeated courses, a period of five to fourteen days is maintained.

As clinical observations show, when using the recommended therapeutic dosages, side effects do not occur in animals. According to the testimony of veterinarians using the medication, there were no allergies, redness, swelling, salivation or irritation at the injection site.

Contraindications to the drug "Katozal" are not revealed.

Eggs, milk or animal meat for food use are applied without any restrictions.

The drug "Katozal" is allowed for use both as a mono drug and as part of a complex of medicines used in the treatment or for prevention.

The drug should be stored at a temperature of five to twenty-five degrees, in a dark and dry place, no more than five years.
