"Toyota Duet" - modest conqueror of the city's elements

The compact city car Toyota Duet was developed by Daihatsu, which in turn was a subsidiary of Toyota. The first generation of small-displacement hatchbacks was born in 1998.

Despite the global changes, the dimensions of the car remained the same. The small car had all the same body dimensions: a length of 366, a width of 160 and a height of 145 centimeters.

Since 1998, the city five-door hatchback was equipped with one three-cylinder petrol engine with a volume of 1,000 "cubes". A little later, Toyota Duet cars were produced with a new power unit, already four cylinders. With its working volume of 1.3 liters, it produced 81 horsepower of power.
