"Titmouse is big, fly to us soon, convene bullfinches": the technology of organizing cognitive activities with preschoolers

Technology in education is a plan for the implementation of certain methodical actions for a certain algorithm in order to transfer to children the necessary knowledge, the formation of skills. To study with preschoolers, how the titmouse lives and winters, it is possible according to the general scheme, which can be used for studying other species of birds.

Stage I. Enrichment of the developing environment in the group

The teacher prepares illustrations, books, sound recordings in advance, with the help of which children can replenish their knowledge of tits. In the corner of the drawing, there are coloring pages and a pattern for painting the coloring of the bird, as well as colors or gouache of yellow, green and black colors. In the corner of nature, a calendar is displayed with the date of the national holiday - Sinitsyn Day, which is traditionally celebrated on November 12. In their free time, children can view photos of birds on electronic carriers, learn to distinguish different types of tits (big, crested, golden, bluegrass), learn them by their colors.

Stage II. Surveillance of a living object

The tit becomes available for observation during her arrival to the home of a person, so it is in November, when it gets cold, and there is not enough food in the forests and parks, a large titmouse arrives in the city zone. Observation can be carried out through a window if there are trees and bird feeders nearby . Observations can be carried out throughout the winter period, until the birds begin to acquire nests in the forest belt in mid-March. Observation on a walk is carried out in conjunction with listening to a trifle of a tit, which on sunny days "reports itself" with a loud enough characteristic sound in 2-3 syllables, which are repeated up to three times. It is necessary to draw the children's attention to the fact that the big titmouse lives in a flock where the birds protect each other and report the place of the feeder.

Stage III. Conducting classes

According to the requirements of modern pre-school education, children are not taught classes, but cognitive activities, when children get knowledge about the object under study in different educational fields. But the older the children, the more the form of transfer of knowledge to preschool children corresponds to the form of the school lesson, i.e. classes. Using the informative area "Art creativity", children can draw, sculpt a bird, create creative applications on a winter theme. During the artistic creation the teacher can additionally report various signs: that the arrival of the titmouses means the beginning of the winter and foreshadows the arrival of the bullfinches, and can also include audio recordings of the titmice trills. The educational area "Trud" regulates the education of children to create crafts made of paper, cardboard, which can be used to make feeders. The educator at the same time with the manufacture of hand-made articles tells the children that the titmouse in winter feeds on grains, crumbs, croup, slices of unsalted fat for lack of insects, which it destroys in large quantities in the summer. The educational area "Communication" assumes acquaintance of children with folklore works, which were passed on by the people from generation to generation, and also reading of cognitive stories about birds.

Stage IV. Consolidation of knowledge

On physical culture and music lessons children play mobile and theatrical games with the image of tits, sing songs about them. With parents watching the life of birds in the parks and forest, in the courtyard and on the balcony. A large tit can become a character of a fairy tale invented by children, a character on a morning performance or during the organization of entertainment. During the entire winter period, children regularly check feeders, update the stocks of feed for birds.

When acquainted with other birds or animals according to the scheme of this technology, stage II can be replaced by watching a film about the life of an animal if the object can not be observed in the nature of the native region.
