About the theater

The Young Spectator Theater (Ekaterinburg), whose photo is presented in this section of the article, began its existence in the distant 1930s. The first troupe consisted of 24 artists. The actors who were selected by the director of the Moscow theater Natalia Sats - Yuri Koritsky. He became at that time the artistic director of the Yekaterinburg Youth Theater.

The first performance of the theater took place in March 1930. He was called "Fugitive". This is a play based on the play by L. Vepritsok.

Its building, which is located today, has received the Theater of Young People in 1977. Its construction lasted a long 10 years. The grand opening of the premises took place on November 7, 1977 and was timed to coincide with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Revolution. Boris Yeltsin, the first secretary of the regional committee for Sverdlovsk, who was then occupying the red tape, cut it.

"Wheel" is a festival-laboratory of the All-Russian level. Theaters that work for children and young people take part in it. The festival exists since 2009. In its framework, there are demonstrations of the best productions for young spectators. In addition, the festival always includes discussions of performances and seminars on theatrical pedagogy.

The next project of the Young Spectators Theater is called "Theater at the school board". This is a show of performances that are part of the school curriculum in literature. Artists go to schools and demonstrate to students theatrical performances based on the literary masterpieces that they are currently passing. To date, within the framework of the TYUZ project, five productions for schools of AS Pushkin, M.Yu.Lermontov, P.Bazhov, V.Shukshin, A.Chekhov are carried by schools. They are: "The Song of the Kalashnikov Merchant", "Sharmanka", "The Maiden-Peasant Woman", "The Secret Tales of Gold" and "One". The project was launched in 2012. Since that time, artists have visited many schools and gymnasiums in Yekaterinburg.

The project "Theater Behind the Concrete Wall" exists since 2002. It was coined to show spectators on the stage of the Theater of Young Spectators spectators on the plays of contemporary playwrights. These performances are provocative, revolutionary and have age limits. Watch them can only viewers who have reached 16, or even 18 years. In the framework of this project, a lot of premieres took place, and some of them even became world ones. "The Real Theater"

The Theater of the Young Spectator (Yekaterinburg) annually hosts a festival called "The Real Theater". Within its framework, there are demonstrations of the best performances of Russia, as well as discussions of performances of participating theaters, in which leading critics, writers, poets, philosophers, art experts of Russia take part.

The festival is held since 1990. In 2015, he celebrated his 25th birthday. At first it was a regional one, and a few years later it received the status of the All-Russian.

Art director and founder of the festival is Oleg Loewsky.

The main task of the "Real Theater" is to help artists, directors, artists find new trends in their work. This is necessary for the further development of art in general and theater in particular.
