The main character of the film is a young woman Polina Cherkasova (M. Anikanova). She has everything - a loving husband, an intelligent and beautiful son. But one day the family gets into a car accident. Having woken up at the hospital, Cherkasova discovers that her beloved men are dead.

Cherkasov, who is widowed, is overcome with grief. She seriously thinks about how to die. But Polina's sister (Vera) persuades a woman to have a second child and give herself another chance.

Actors M. Anikanov and Yu. Baturin, or rather, their screen characters, met only once and spent an unforgettable night together. If Arseny expected to continue the relationship, then Pauline took such a step only to become pregnant and again to experience the joy of motherhood. After the only meeting, the couple broke up and did not see for many more years until Cherkasova came to work for a new firm and saw her old acquaintance there.

Between Polina and Arseny again broke out a novel. The man almost immediately became a close friend for Polina's daughter. But some facts from the past lives of both heroes will soon become known and build a new wall of misunderstanding between them.

Maria Anikanova as Polina

Maria Anikanova, a graduate of the Shchukin school, joined the troupe of the Sovremennik Theater since 1995. Her career in cinema, the artist began in 1991 with a major role in the film "House under the starry sky," where her partners in the set were Mikhail Ulyanov and Alexander Abdulov. Then there was a role in the drama "Tomorrow", dedicated to the Chernobyl disaster.

After nine years of silence Anikanova returned to the screen, playing only episodic roles in the series. In 2005 she was assigned the main role in the project "Two Fates 2", after which there was progress in the television career.

In the multi-series picture "Another Chance", actors Yu Baturin and M. Anikanov play a romantic couple. The heroine Anikanova Polina seduced Arseny with only one goal - to become pregnant. Therefore, after spending the night with him, the woman simply disappeared from the horizon, leaving even no contact information. After many years, Polina Cherkasova will have to re-love this man, find the strength to tell Arseny the whole truth about her former life, and find out, finally, who is to blame for the accident that took the life of her child and her husband.

Yuri Baturin as Arseny

Baturin is a native of the Dnepropetrovsk region (Ukraine). In the same place, he graduated from the theater school, and then went to get a directorial education in GITIS. But the 90s were not the best time for many actors, so Yuri Baturin left the profession and began to master other specialties: the longest he worked as a bartender, restaurant administrator and trucker.

When Baturin was already far beyond thirty, his former classmate phoned him and offered to return to the world of cinema. Yuri decided to take a chance, and he managed to get the former form: only in 2006 the actor took part in seven television projects. True, the main role went to him only in one - in the series "Women's stories".

In the film "Another Chance" Baturin happened to play a rather romantic hero. Arseny for a long time remembered Pauline after their only meeting and tried to find a woman. And when she appeared in his company as a new employee, at first he was delighted, but then Polina's deliberate coldness offended him. After a long series of misunderstandings and misunderstandings, the main characters still found a common language and resumed their romance.
