The political system of Russia

The political system is a concept, the introduction of which into everyday life means the awareness of politics as a science that is absolutely independent and integral. Within it there is a constant interconnection between different processes and structures. All political systems, known to date, belong to this or that type, proposed by scientists. For example, the EU countries have a conciliatory type of organization.

But the political system of modern Russia is very specific. Its essence is defined by the term rather blurred - "sovereign democracy". The signs of this new species are not entirely clear, but they can still be distinguished:

1) high level of social, economic and politico-cultural heterogeneity of actors;

2) the multinationality of political space;

3) the power structure is monocentric;

4) authoritarian nature of political style;

5) the institutional structure is very rigid;

6) procedural consensus, etc.

The existing political system of Russia is focused on one person, one national leader and only formally secured by democratic procedures. Even when V. Putin left the post, yielding to his Dmitry Medvedev, the general direction of the state policy, established by him, remained the same.

The political system of Russia is based on the postulates introduced by V. Putin. He repeatedly said that Russia, as the leading country in the world, should defend its interests confidently (and can do it). At the same time, the Russian state should not pay attention to someone's approval or disapproval, listen to the advisers. Both V. Putin and his supporters recognize that the military and economic power of the US can not be surpassed, but this does not entitle Washington to manage alone the entire international system. To balance the forces of America, the Russian president is trying to establish relations with India and the PRC.

Also in the key priorities of public policy is (with the submission of V. Putin) the promotion of commercial activities of firms in Russia. The energy giants were again under the control of the Kremlin. The government of the country not only protects the needs of these companies, but also attracts them to make decisions. And often the interests of the nation bring great benefits to their leaders.

The next direction of the Kremlin's policy is the influence on the countries of the near abroad. In relation to all the neighbors who are going against Moscow, V. Putin behaves very harshly. But he does not attempt to restore the USSR. He also does not believe the statements of the US and Western European countries that they do not seek to restrain Russia, to invade the sphere of its interests.

Even more than a threat from America or the West, V. Putin is concerned about the rapid development of China. And the president demonstrated his intention to cooperate on this issue with Europe and the United States.

Of course, Russia's political system has many shortcomings. These include bureaucratization and corruption. Solutions are also ineffective, since the procedure for their adoption is not transparent, the Kelein. In addition, there is no proper control over the actions of the authorities.

The new political system of Russia began to be built in the 90s of the 20th century, following the example of the political system of the West. Such blind copying was not the best option. Moreover, it led to the complete collapse of the entire structure of public administration.

At the present stage, the political system determines the goals of the development of the society, significant for all, and ways of finding the resources necessary to achieve the tasks set. All this was indicated in the so-called "plan of V. Putin." Priority is given to issues of external, social and economic policy. National projects on medicine, education, innovation, demography, housing, ecology were transformed into state programs and serve to achieve the set goals.

Also fully formed a multi-party political system, consisting of four main elements. Its significant drawback was the withdrawal of right-wing associations, that is, liberal ones.
