Origins

A citizen of Ukraine, a future soloist, was born in the Dnepropetrovsk region (Krivoy Rog town). Date of birth - 11/02/1973. Vocal abilities were first discovered by the music teacher IS Beer, almost by force sending the boy to a music school, where he graduated from the class of balalaika. Then in Kiev I entered the music college for the conductor's department. From the third year he was expelled, and Yaroslav Maly, whose biography had radically changed, went to conquer the Russian capital.

It was the 1991th. With him were only his talent and ambition. Before the creation of the group "Tokyo" will be 10 years, filled with composing music, parties and, unfortunately, drugs. Two people in those years played a decisive role in his life: Gosha Kutsenko and Natalia Simakova.

Gosha Kutsenko, after listening to the song "Indira Gandhi", said that this should be done. Agreed to participate in his video without payment, and did everything to the musician's relationship with MTV.

The band features a variety of musical material, which has accumulated quite a lot over the years of creativity.

After the divorce, the contract with Siberia was terminated. In this whole Yaroslav the Small. His wife (N. Simakova) was the soloist of the group, and he did not want to bind her with obligations.

"Tokyo" conducts active tours abroad, having a great success. "Machete" for a long time successfully performed in Russia, but a year and a half ago the situation changed.

Homecoming

Even before the historic events in Ukraine, Maly purchased an apartment in Kiev. He took the events on the Maidan, and even performed there with his team. Later he began to feel a lack of understanding with his former colleagues in Russian show business, which he associates with an incorrect presentation of the media events in his historic homeland. Together with his new wife, Rachel, who became the director of his projects, he moved to Ukraine.

Having four children from previous wives, four more he brings up together with Rachel, born before their meeting. The father of many children does not divide the children into his own and others'. Spiritual growth of Yaroslav the Small is associated with his appeal to the religion of his ancestors. He has a Jewish name - Moshe Pinhas, he reads the Torah, visits the synagogue and honors religious holidays and traditions.
