The actors of the film "Water World" tell the viewer the story that happened in the post-apocalyptic world - after the whole earth was flooded with melted glaciers.

People huddle in the colonies, which are scattered in the middle of the ocean. On the water move on different types of boats. Life on the water continues to develop on the same principles as on land: there are respectable citizens, but there are criminals and thieves, who are called "cigarette butts". "Butts" plow the sea for the purpose of finding a mythical island of this land, which supposedly survived after the flood. They also rob everyone who comes across them on the way.

The main character in the performance of Costner is a simple sailor. He sells land that he raises from the depths of the sea. But in one of the colonies he was mistaken for a smuggler, seized and sentenced to drowning in a swamp. During the search, the main character was found gills, as well as a tattoo with some coordinates on his back. Throughout the colony, rumors spread quickly that the Sailor knows where to look for land. Henceforth the character Costner will have to escape not only from the guards of the order, but also from the "cigarette butts."

Kevin Costner is a native of the sunny state of California. In his youth, the future actor did not even think about becoming a Hollywood star: after school he went to receive the profession of a marketer. While studying at the university, Costner began to play in the amateur theater and understood what he really wanted from life.
