The drug 'Adelphan'. Instructions for use of the medicinal product

Today, one of the most urgent problems in medicine is arterial hypertension. Difficulties in prevention and treatment are primarily due to the low effectiveness of antihypertensive drugs. It is for this reason that the monocomponent treatment of arterial hypertension is practically not applied today, that is, two or three drugs are primarily prescribed for the treatment of this disease. The latter provides both a higher efficacy of therapy, and a lesser risk of developing addiction to the medicines of the body. The only disadvantage of this therapy is the need to take a whole handful of pills during the day.

An excellent alternative is the drug Adelphan-Ezidreks, the instruction of which indicates the presence in its composition of a combination of three antihypertensive drugs.

Its composition includes: reserpine, dihydralysin and thiazide diuretic - hydrochlorothiazide.

The action of reserpine is based on the depletion of the catecholamine depot, which reduces the tone of the sympathetic nervous system. As a result, there is a decrease in the frequency of contractions of the heart muscle and blood pressure. In addition, reserpine, as one of the components of the drug, causes some sedative effect. Under the action of reserpine, the antihypertensive effect develops slowly, the maximum of its action is observed in the second-third week of therapy.

The second component - "dihydralazine sulfate" causes a decrease in the tone of smooth muscle tissue of arterial vessels. What is the basis for the selectivity of the drug, it is not yet clear, however, its effectiveness in the treatment of hypertension is very high. The action of the drug is aimed at reducing the peripheral resistance of blood vessels, which ultimately leads to a reduction in hypertension with the use of the drug "Adelphan". Instructions for use indicate the presence of another (third) component of the drug - hydrochlorothiazide.

The latter not only compensates for changes in the body's water balance (remember that dihydralazine leads to some tissue swelling due to changes in the ionic ratio of cell membranes), but also reduces the risk of edema due to increased diuresis.

As a result, the effectiveness is due to the three-component formulation of the drug Adelphan. Instructions for use indicate a 50% bioavailability of the drug, as well as to achieve the maximum concentration of the components of the drug in the blood within thirty minutes after receiving the latter. Among the indications - only arterial hypertension, and any etiology.

If you decide to use Adelphan, the instructions for use will help you choose the recommended dosage, taking into account the basic requirements, and also indicate the special conditions for the use of the medication (all described in the instructions). However, it is strongly recommended that you consult a doctor to determine the individual characteristics, stage and severity of the disease. Taking into account these features, a competent specialist will be able to select for you the required dosage of the drug and optimize its intake (it is best to apply the product directly during meals).

Particular attention should be paid to the undesirability of taking children a multicomponent drug "Adelphan". Contraindications: pheochromocytoma, JAJ and PDC, epilepsy (and other convulsive conditions), systemic lupus erythematosus, heart failure and tachycardia. In addition, do not use the remedy for violations in kidney function, and liver failure. It is also worth noting that the pregnant woman is contraindicated with the drug "Adelphan". The instruction for use contains indications of these aspects.
