The drug "A-Cerumen" in otological practice

The drug "A-cerumen" is a medicinal product used locally in otological practice. This medication contains in its composition surface-active components that help purify the earwax of the auditory canals, thereby preventing the formation of sulfur plugs.

Also, the A-Cerumen tool helps to cleanse from existing sulfur plugs in the external auditory canal. When this drug is used, there is no systemic absorption of its active components.

The drug "A-cerumen" is indicated for use in the presence of sulfur plugs, as well as for the prevention of their development in people who have increased the formation of earwax. It is also used for the constant hygiene of the ears: most often in patients who actively use telephone sets, hearing aids, other devices attached directly to the external auditory canal, thereby causing excessive earwax production.

It is recommended to apply the medicament "A-Cerumen" to people who are actively involved in water sports, as well as those who have to stay in dusty premises for a long time.

At the present stage, when using this drug in patients, there were no undesirable effects. Only in the presence of hypersensitivity to any of its components can locally appear pruritus, hyperemia, rash.

Contraindicated the use of this drug in the presence of individual intolerance of the components of the solution. Patients with perforation of the tympanic membrane should not be prescribed this drug. Also, do not use it for acute and chronic ear diseases of an infectious-inflammatory nature. Patients with a shunt in the tympanic membrane are not recommended to use this drug.

Pregnant and during breastfeeding this drug is allowed to use.

Preparation "A-Cerumen": instruction

In no case should you take the drug inside, it is intended only for instillation in the ear. Avoid contact with eyes. It is recommended to heat the drug before its use to a temperature close to that of the body, simply holding the bottle in the palm of your hand. Do not insert the tip of the vial into the ear canal to prevent irritation. In what dosage and how long it is necessary to use it, the specialist determines.

When using the drug "A-cerumen" for prophylaxis, the feedback gets the best: it should be prescribed half the bottle in each ear 2 times a month. The duration of use of this drug is not limited.

In the presence of already sulfuric corks appoint it more often half the bottle in each ear, but already 2 times a day (!). After dipping, wait a minute, then clean the external ear canal and rinse it with saline. The time of application of this solution in the presence of formed sulfuric plugs is approximately 3-4 days.

When using this drug according to the instructions, an overdose is not possible.

You can combine the use of the drug "A-cerumen" and other drugs, since it does not affect their properties. Only with the simultaneous appointment of other otologicheskih means must respect the interval between their use.

This solution is produced for local application of 2 ml in vials made of polymer materials. The package includes 5 such bottles.

It can be stored after manufacturing no more than 3 years with a temperature of less than 30 degrees Celsius. No more than a day you can store the opened bottle.
