Registration of the title page of any scientific work (including the abstract) must comply with certain rules and standards of GOST. The title page is the first thing the teacher will pay attention to.

In addition, the educational institution can also make its demands. It is clear that you can learn about them only in the process of studying, but, as a rule, they do not deviate too much from the standards. Therefore, it is advisable, in the first year, to create the necessary templates that meet the requirements, and then only make the changing data.

Registration of the title page of the abstract

  • At the top of the page (symmetrical to the fields) indicate the name of the educational institution and department;
  • On the center of the sheet they write the word "Abstract" and the full name of the discipline;
  • Making a few spaces, write the word "Theme" without quotes, and below - its name;
  • In the lower right corner write such data: a student (student) of a certain course and group, and under these words indicate their surname; In the next line indicate information about the teacher (name, initials, title, academic degree);
  • In the middle of the bottom edge of the page it is necessary to write the city where the educational institution is located and the year of performance, while writing only numbers (without the word "year")

Execution of the title page of the term paper

Estimates for coursework are entered in the student's record book, and the work itself is stored in the educational institution for a long time. They can be selectively checked by a commission that regularly visits universities. Consequently, the design of the title page of the course should be sustained no less severely than the abstract. Also, you must follow a certain style and size of the font. The classical version is Times New Roman. Below is described the sequence of the title page:

  • Ministry of Education (with indication of the country);
  • Further the phrase: "institution of education" (without quotes) and the name of the university in quotes (in capital letters) ;
  • Faculty, where the student is studying;
  • In the middle of the page we write a specialty, and in bold type (24 pt.) The words "course work" in capital letters;
  • Next - topic name

All these data must be aligned to the center of the sheet, and information about the student and the teacher is made in analogy with the abstract.

Registration of the title page of the report

The report can be attributed to the free form of submission of information. However, certain requirements are made to him:

  • On top of the sheet (centered) the title of the report is written;
  • In the header there should be no abbreviations or abbreviations, unnecessary padding or line breaks;
  • From the bottom of the topic indicate the author of the report (14 font), you can use; italics;
  • You should also indicate the university, the year of performance and the data of the teacher.

If there is a need to make an annotation, then it is placed from the bottom in lower case letters. As for the formatting of any title page, everything is standard here: the right margin is 1 cm, the rest - 2.5 cm. The title page is not numbered, but by default it is considered the first one. In this regard, the next page will be considered second and numbered with the number "2".
