Malfunctions of the dashboard

The instrument panel, like any other electronic unit, is exposed to such harmful factors as short circuit, broken supply or information wires, failure of one of the main units of the device. If you had to deal with a similar problem, first of all, determine what signs of breakdown the shield gives:

  • The panel does not function at all, but the engine starts and runs in normal mode;
  • The dashboard "Niva-Chevrolet" is not lit, but all the indicators are working (there is no backlighting);
  • Does not work speedometer and tachometer;
  • The temperature and fuel level sensors are not functioning.

  3. We pull out the right side of the panel cover, remove the connectors from the control buttons. Remember (take a picture) which connectors are suitable for which buttons!
  4. We disengage the left side of the cladding, remove the shoe from the buttons for turning on the headlights and dimensions. Remove and remove the cladding.
