The arrangement in volleyball: the rules of the game

Since school times, each of us are familiar with the basic rules of an active team game - volleyball. Someone thanks to long hard training and matches for the honor of his native team firmly remembered the uneasy rules of this sport, and for someone they remained a "dark forest". Transfers, the course of the game, and most importantly, the placement of players in volleyball is what many unprofessional athletes are neglected, but despite this, playing by the present rules is much more interesting than without them!

Preparation for the match: field regulations

The All-Russian Volleyball Federation establishes the rules of the game, which are regulated by official documents. These documents contain detailed rules of playing time, the size of the field and its zoning. So, the width of the field should be 9 meters, and length - 18. The game field is divided by a grid stretched at an altitude of about 2.5 meters. For the competitions of women's teams are used grids, stretched just below (difference: 20 centimeters).

Zoning of the field for volleyball is as follows: the area of each team is divided into 6 zones. Within one of them, players can make transfers and move around. It is noteworthy that players change their positions throughout the game, moving clockwise. The placement of players in volleyball is predetermined precisely by dividing the field into zones for certain types of figurants.

Illustration of the movement of players: the serving player is in the first zone, eventually, moving into the fifth zone, he bypasses the libero (the so-called defender in the middle of the field). The Libero moves along the back line, therefore is deprived of independence in carrying out attacks. The form of the libero player is often different from the other players. The ball, which players use, has a special place in the rules of the game. Usually it is tri-color (white, blue and yellow - in most cases). The weight of the ball is not more than 280 grams, and the diameter is 67 centimeters.

All about players: volleyball

The volleyball team must have 14 players, among them 6 active, and the rest serve as a substitute. In one game, you can make up to six substitutions. The draw decides which team gives first. The serving player makes an attacking blow from the back line. Since the goal of the players of each team is to get points due to falling into empty places of the field, the server has no opportunity to make a mistake. If he enters the net or enters the limits of the playing field, points are awarded to the opposing team, and the right of submission passes to them.

"Touching moments"

Volleyball is a game that is interesting, first of all, by the fact that it takes into account everything to the last detail. And the placement in volleyball is far from the last important moment of the game. For example, to play the ball in your half of the field can be no more than three touches. If they turned out more, the ball is transferred to the opponent. As a rule, three touches contain the following actions of players: ball reception, pass, attack. It is noteworthy that in volleyball one player has the right to touch the ball with any part of the body only once. A player standing on the first line of the field can attack from any part of the first lane, the back line of the players can attack from the mark of three meters.

Settlement errors and penalties

The placement in volleyball is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. Three players occupying the places closest to the grid are called front line players. Their zones are the fourth, third and second. Accordingly, the left, center and right players. The remaining players in the volleyball are as follows: the fifth, sixth and first zones are occupied by the players of the back line. Also considered are the left, center and right player. If the errors in the placement were timely noted by the match secretary, then all the points received by the players of the offending team during this period are canceled, and the players, in turn, are obliged to take the correct places in accordance with the zones.
