The amazing countries of Western Europe

Few people know that Europe is divided into eastern and western, even fewer people know which countries are entering Europe.

Thus, Western Europe is a small, once-monarchic state that has long emerged from the shadow of the monarchy to the world's leading positions.

Western European countries: France, Belgium, Great Britain, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Germany, the Netherlands and Ireland have always attracted Soviet citizens and residents of the post-Soviet space with their distant shores.

Historically, the situation was such that during the period of socialism all the above-mentioned states were unattainable because of the policy of the country, which pressed on the minds of the peoples and considered the whole of the West as an enemy, but so desirable. Direction, free to visit, was eastern Europe, and then only for those who distinguished themselves. Apparently because of this "iron" ban, until now most of the compatriots tend to taste the previously "forbidden fruit."

Interestingly, the countries of Western Europe, or rather their list is constantly changing, and even various official international organizations attribute this or that country to the West.

To date, Western European countries are open to free visits, and annually take in their open embrace millions of tourists who want to see and feel the Western spirit. However, not everyone can afford to Western European countries, since this direction is quite expensive and requires a lot of money not only for visiting the country itself, but also for moving and issuing a visa.

Countries of Western Europe can surprise with their beauty and culture, even the most pretentious person.

France, known for its beautiful Eiffel Tower and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Paris, can surprise with many equally beautiful and majestic sights. What is worth one Louvre - a museum complex that united in one territory several museums, organically combining buildings dating from the 12th century, and modern glass pyramids that gave the museum a complete view in 1983. Not less large-scale and historical complex - Versailles, which became the epitome of the era of the most beloved king of France. Almost until the end of the 17th century, the palace was the operating residence of the kings, until the French revolution overthrew the monarchy and transferred the whole complex to the status of the museum, except for the expositions and palaces themselves, here it is the largest and beautiful garden represented by a lot of fountains, avenues and greenhouses.

Belgium is also replete with a huge number of palaces and preserved monuments of history, this is the 15th century royal palace, and St. Michael's Cathedral , famous throughout the world for stained glass windows. In the administrative area you can see a combination of old and new architecture, represented by the Palace of Nations, dating from the 18th century, and the modern residence of the Kingdom. From the Middle Ages to the present day, the whole quarter, once the largest market, now a center of antiques trade, has remained unchanged.

Ireland can surprise with a symbiosis of virgin, endless green meadows with a number of actively built up cities, filled with lights and advertising signs. As in all monarchic countries, there are many castles here, but you have to go to Ireland for nature and its majestic views. The most unforgettable place is the road of the giants, - an incredible natural phenomenon, formed as a result of the eruption of the volcano. From the depths of the water, stone pillars of regular hexagonal form, connected together, gradually come out. In total, you can count 40,000 posts, the height of which reaches 12 meters.

The whole of Western Europe, the countries bordering on it, and the whole of Europe as a whole, is a powerful magnet for all people who will long be attracted to themselves.
