Staphylococcal anoxin

Staphylococcal diseases are a vast group of various diseases caused by staphylococci. To their main manifestations should include purulent skin lesions and diseases of subcutaneous tissue, tonsillitis, enterocolitis, pneumonia. Manifestations are both staphylococcal sepsis, poisoning with Staphylococcus toxin. In some cases, the CNS is affected.

Staphylococcus is one of the main pathogens of pyoderma. He is the most frequent and dangerous causative agent of nosocomial infection. The spread of these pathogens in medical institutions provokes purulent-septic complications in surgical hospitals. In this case, the results of well-executed operations are often reduced to zero. The development of staphylococcal epidemics in maternity hospitals can cause severe postpartum complications in patients and newborns. Fatal outcomes are also frequent.

Staphylococci are very resistant to the effects of many antibacterial agents. This is due to the short-term effect of antibiotic therapy. As a rule, there is a return of the symptoms of the disease. At the same time, the spread of pathogenic staphylococci, related to strains resistant to the antibiotic, is spreading from the mucous and lesions.

This infection is a problem of reduced immunity.

One of the main ways of treating the infection, used in combination with antibiotic therapy or replacing it, is a staphylococcal anatoxin. It is isolated during the cultivation of one of the most pathogenic strains. Staphylococcus aurexin is completely neutralized, purified of ballast substances. It retains immunogenic properties.

In the treatment of staphylococcal infections, the most effective is the adsorbed and purified staphylococcal anatoxin. This immunotherapy is completely harmless. Staphylococcus anatoxin, unlike medicines used in antibiotic therapy, does not have negative side effects.

Staphylococcal anatoxin. Instructions

The drug is available as a solution for subcutaneous injection. The drug is administered under the scapular angle, with alternation of sides with subsequent administration. Subcutaneous injection into the shoulder is not allowed. A complete therapeutic course includes seven injections. They must be produced in two days with the following incremental doses: 0.1; 0.3; 0.5; 0.7; 0.9; 1.2; 1.5 milliliters. Side effects may be allergic reactions.

Immunization of the body contributes to the formation of active antitoxic and anti-infectious immunity. The use of the drug greatly helps the body cope with the infection. In addition, immunity, formed with the help of immunotherapy, prevents the re-introduction of infection. As practice shows, recovery is observed in 90% of patients after immunization. The use of toxoid in pregnant women significantly reduces the risk of infection of both the newborn and the mother. It should be noted that the incidence, with the use of anatoxin, decreases not only during the stay in the hospital, but also for half a year after discharge.

Staphylococcal infections affect not only humans, but also animals. In particular, dogs distinguish the "second" form of the disease, which complicates the developed dermatitis, and generalized disease. In the latter case, the infection involves not only the skin but also other organs in the pathological process.

As active immunotherapy for dogs, Staphylococcal polyvalent toxoid is used, aimed at activating immune defense reactions.
