It is obvious: that people could enjoy a meat dish, some animal had to say goodbye to life. It's always nice to think that a chicken or piglet was sleeping peacefully, before dying. However, in fact, everything looks different. In 2015, a scandalous video circled the world, activists of the Animal Charity Front showed how the suppliers of chicken meat for McDonald's have brutally slaughtered the birds to death. This is not at all like a civilized face, but more like a bacchanalia. However, the company, which monopolizes the markets for meat products, does not care about the reputation of its suppliers. And this means that representatives of McDonald's do not care about the feelings of customers.

Attitudes towards employees

We continue to discover the secrets of fast food. For a long time, the managers of the company realized that employees needed a weekend, and they, like all other inhabitants of the planet, want to spend time with their families on Christmas and New Year holidays. However, long-standing traditions and work ethics were crossed out by the thirst for profit. Since 2012, the fast food chain McDonald's has resumed its work on public holidays. In many places, employers refuse to pay their employees overtime. In turn, many who come to work here, barely make ends meet. Therefore, these people tolerate lawlessness on the part of their superiors.

Salads and oatmeal are even more caloric than hamburgers

Do you think that in the excessive fullness of the good half of humanity burgers are to blame? In fact, in this world-famous product, only a part of the trouble is hidden. When cheap fatty foods displace natural ingredients from the list of ingredients, the usual "Calais" salad becomes more caloric than "Big Mac". And the chicken in the Caesar salad is on average 50 grams of fat and 1.4 mg of sodium. Thus, in total, the share of one ingredient in a cold snack is 730 calories. For comparison: the double "Big Mac" contains 680 calories and only 1.3 mg of sodium. And that means you should not believe advertising and think that you can compensate for eating a hamburger with a healthy salad.

The oatmeal, which is offered for breakfast, contains flavors, unnatural cream and a lot of sugar. Total - 290 calories. It's like if you ate Snickers every day for breakfast.

Which is better: self-service kiosks or salary increase for employees?

Employers are so stingy that they would prefer to put everywhere self-service kiosks, but not raise salaries to their employees. For example, in most US states, McDonald's employees are satisfied with the minimum wage. Nevertheless, many regions are trying to raise the minimum tariffs almost doubled. If the laws come into force, the company threatens to replace people with self-service machines. Robots will work for free, at least until they take up the rebellion.
