Sergey Mihalok - biography and musical career

Some musicians will forever remain for listeners something more than just carriers of culture and rock. Some of them have an active civil position, openly express their opinion and do what they believe. This can be safely said about such a person as Sergei Mikhalkov.

Childhood of a musician

Due to the fact that his father was a military man, the family moved to Germany. Sergei himself was born in the capital of Saxony, Dresden, in 1972. Later they lived together in Siberia and only in the late 80's returned to Belarus. From the very childhood Mikhalkov, Jr. began to participate in various creative competitions. Sergei Mikhalok, whose biography began in the GDR, became famous in certain Belarusian circles. His teachers also noted the boy's amazing ability for music in the absence of discipline. Despite this, he was a clear favorite of the teaching staff. As expected, he entered the University of Culture and Arts and graduated.

Creation of "Lyapis"

In the beginning of 1990 Mihalok became the founder of the cult group, famous in the countries of the former USSR till now - "Lyapis Trubetskoy". The name was given to the collective by the name of the hero "12 chairs". First they played amateurishly, then they began to participate in serious festivals. The turning point was the meeting of the group with the future director - Kolmykov. After that, they began to receive royalties and go on tour in buses. At the same time, Sergei Mikhalok engaged in cooperation with the theater "Bamboo". At first the cassettes of the group were dispersed in a small print run. Everything changed after recording at the studio under the guidance of Kravtsov, advised to expand the band with several other musicians to improve the sound. Soon the band released their first album. The Belarusian public appreciated it very favorably, which was manifested when awarding awards at Belarusian competitions of rock artists. However, in the mid-90's, creativity was dying out.

Birth for the Russian public

The explosion of popularity comes for the group Mikhalka, when his tapes are in Russia. Sergei Mikhalok, whose biography becomes known to the public, at that time is the object of the struggle of many studios. His new album was composed of old and new songs, having received the famous title "You Threw." The CIS countries took it with delight. The collective releases its first video for the song "Au", which soared in the charts. Then, without the participation of the "Lyapis", a CD with their remixes and archive records is released. New creativity, published later, rehabilitates the group in front of Belarusian fans. They are winning an ever wider circle of admirers.

2000s

The beginning of the new century was not exactly smooth for Lyapis. Their new album was not widely accepted by the public, as the compositions began to have a fundamentally different sound. Although some critics have called it the best of all albums of the decade.

Mikhalkov Sergey Vladimirovich again became a VIP-person in show business after the clip for the song "Pigeons", which received the widest rotation on MTV. Then the musicians decided to participate in the project "Children of the Sun", which promotes optimistic songs performed by both famous and new performers. The main directions of the group were reggae and "gypsy".

The clip "Sochi" once again proved to the listeners that Mikhalk's talent is inexhaustible. A new round of popularity and global fame in the CIS spurred the musicians to write the next album "Youth", which became the most successful for many years of the collective's existence.

Golden Eggs

In the mid-2000s Sergei Mikhalok released a scandalous album, featuring its own independent sound. Obviously, the influence of reggae and skapunk on the work of the band seems to be. In addition, now Mikhalkov is also the author of soundtracks for the film "Men Do not Cry." He declares that this kind of creativity helps him to know himself from a new angle. Therefore, later the self-titled album with music to the series comes out.

Changes in creativity

The album "Capital" became the banner of a sharp change in the band's style. Now more and more obvious in their music is the social overtones. The clip has won many awards. In it, Sergei appeared in the form of a pseudo-Buddhist deity with a heart in the form of a pig. It reflects the destructive power of globalization.

Contemporary creativity

The song "I Believe" was the breakthrough of "Lyapis" in a musical career. Numerous spectators and listeners declared this track the best for the last years of the band's work. The next note for such a major musician, as Sergei Mikhalok, was the album "Rabkor", where his civil position was particularly pronounced. At that time, Belarus openly announced a list of groups banned in the country. It got and "Lapis", which served as the abolition of a number of concerts at home.

In March of this year the group announced the termination of creative activity after the spring-summer concert session.

The personality of Sergei Mikhalkov

Mikhalok Sergey, whose growth is 172 centimeters, has recently changed a lot in appearance. In the early years of the group's existence, he weighed almost 110 kg. He wore Hawaiian shirts with flowers, had a beer belly, which gave him a very funny look. Now about the flabby form is out of the question. Even before the release of "Golden Eggs" Sergei shaved his head, speaking about the cardinal changes in his personality. The desire for self-development led him forward. Indeed, Sergei Mikhalok before and after - it's completely different people. He goes in for sports, martial arts, goes to the gym, eats healthy food. According to his diet, the first 10-15 kg can be reset at home, calculating meals according to its quality, not quantity. Michalok says that a person is what he eats. People-crisps easily break and crumble.

Previously, the musician was known for his addiction to alcohol and drugs. Now he does not drink at all. And those distant connections with drugs are remembered as a terrible dream.

When Sergei lost more than 20 kg, there was a need to start swinging, as the body did not look very aesthetic. So began his long journey in bodybuilding. In the mid-2000s, Michalok became a recluse. He trained for a long time, rode a bicycle, jumped rope, pressed, pulled himself up. He believes that it is necessary to constantly improve in order to carry something useful to the masses. His example benefited the rest of the group. Many started going to boxing and other kinds of wrestling. Now the desire for a healthy lifestyle is an absolutely natural part of the collective's existence.

Sergey Mihalok: personal life

The first wife of Sergei was the soloist of the band "Mantana" Ales Berulava. However, the relationship came to nothing due to the violent nature of the couple. The second time Mikhalkov married actress Svetlana Zelenkovskaya. Her mild character and desire for a home hearth still retain in their family a warm and kind relationship.

Mikhalk has two sons - Pavel from the first marriage and Makar from the second. He believes that they are not obliged to continue the creative profession of their father, but have the right to do what they themselves consider necessary.
