Self-propelled mulchers of Italian-Russian production!

The transition to the operation of mulchers on the basis of specialized special chassis is becoming more and more noticeable not only among traditional FGC and IDGC, but also among private contracting companies. Recall that today in Russia 95% of the shredders are imported machines, including representatives of Italy, Germany and North America. By the end of 2013 the most popular among the producers of shredders are three Italian manufacturers - SEPPI M, FAE and FERRI. Among self-propelled mulchers, Italy also holds the palm of primacy.

At the end of February, a meeting was held in Yaroslavl, in the premises of the FERRI representative office in Russia, between the FERRI Srl shredders and the caterpillar tractors of ZAO "JUUZT". The main agenda of the meeting was the creation of joint production, a self-propelled mulching caterpillar. To this tandem, the enterprises have been going for two years, and by the middle of the summer we will be able to observe the machine in work in the Russian forest belts.

"The main focus of our joint development with the Italian plant lies in the high concentration on the maintainability of the machine, its multifunctionality and the ease of operation," notes Sidorenko VV, General Director of ZAO UZUTT.

This can be seen at the root of the idea: a Russian tractor can be repaired by a Russian mechanic with his eyes closed, and if there are spare parts, including analogs, anywhere in the country, a simple machine will be minimal during repairs. What can not be said about full-sized self-propelled mulching machines on the caterpillar track of production in Germany, North America - where the delivery time of components is calculated in months, and the availability of warehouses with a constant supply of all necessary repair kits in Russia is not observed.

The mower head assembly will continue to be exclusively in Italy. According to the chief engineer of the Italian plant, Andrea Bellorio: "We were repeatedly asked about the transfer of assembly points to Poland, China or the Czech Republic, which we never agreed. First and foremost, this is due to the mechanized production line and the control of the end products located in Italy, which is unique in the industry, and it is currently irrational to place such production capacities in other countries. Also, work is being done with suppliers of Swedish hydraulic equipment and steel from Germany, who supply us with materials not only for mulchers, but also for mowing equipment, and the spread of assembly points across the continent will only increase the costs for logistics and customs clearance (in the case of China) " .

You can not ignore the multifunctionality of the machine, which lies in the use of additional working tools, in addition to the mulching head. This again can not boast import, presented in Russia, brands. The machine will not only be able to chop and chop up trees with a barrel diameter of up to 45-50 cm, but also to perform planning works with a bulldozer dump, to root for the subsequent crushing of the root system of trees, to organize mineralized fire bands, to stabilize and loosen hard ground rocks. All this complex of works is an integral part of the activities for the organization of exclusion zones along power lines and oil and gas pipelines, preparation of the territory for industrial development, preparation of soils for the organization of transport highways.

The car will meet all the standards of safety and labor protection, which is one of the most important points, which draw attention to the Italian-Russian tandem. The machine will have a fire-fighting system, a reinforced frame of "forest protection", a comfortable chair with ergonomic joysticks of motion control and working elements, with rotation around its axis. For comfortable work, the operator is provided with a heating system and air conditioning.
