Connecting and Configuring the Adapter

If the purchase of the adapter was not made by the operator of Rostelecom, then before connecting it and then setting up it, you need to make sure that the equipment supports the electrical networks of your type. 1. The adapter is connected via a network patch cord to a personal computer. In the browser search bar, enter the address http://192.168.1.1. After logging on, the connection setup wizard starts.
2. By default, the admin password is set on the device, which you will be prompted to change in the first step of the configuration.
3. The new password is entered twice, then the "Next" key is pressed. The second stage is setting up a Wi-Fi connection.
4. The name of the wireless network is entered in the appropriate box. The region "Russia" is established and the mixed mode of operation is Mixed 802.11 B / G / N /. The radio channel is left unchanged. The next window is the network security settings.
5. In the security settings of the Wi-Fi network, the type of encryption and the network security mode on AES and WPA2-PSK, respectively, change. The wireless security key is entered in the appropriate box.
6. Adapter configuration is completed by pressing the Compete key or "Done".

The next step in the setup is the LAN Setup section. It changes the IP address. This is done so that there is no conflict with the IP address of the router.

The integration of all Powerline adapters into a single network is carried out in the last place. For this purpose, the device is connected to the electrical network and the router port. The Security key is held down for 15 seconds, during which the device generates a new NMK key. Then the button is pressed repeatedly squeezed for 3-4 seconds.

The second adapter is connected to the electrical network. It also squeezes the Security key for 15 seconds to reset the NMK key and generate a new one, then press it again for 3-4 seconds. Adapters are then automatically connected to each other and the user only has to check their operability.
