Psychological games for teenagers and not only

Adolescence is a time of change when children begin to feel themselves adults, when their worldview, attitudes, values change. No wonder it is also called "transitional". One of the leading activities for teenagers at this time is personal communication. However, not every child is still able to give himself from the right side.

In order to help students learn new social and personal roles, specialists in the school can conduct psychological games for teenagers. The value of this activity is undeniable. In the game, children are more emancipated, get new impressions, can afford communication, quite different from that to which they are accustomed in everyday life.

Psychological games and exercises are used on class hours, trainings, special classes, the purpose of which can be different. This is the consolidation of the children's team, the ability to resist pressure (for the prevention of drug addiction), the training of effective communication skills, etc. It is important that after the game the students discuss their impressions, express what they are happy with and what they did not like (in psychology - sharing) .

Some exercises are equally valuable for different ages, regardless of whether they are used entirely for toddlers, for older teens or for adults. Such games are universal. However, depending on the contingent of participants, they can pursue different goals.

So, for example, when choosing psychological games for preschoolers, you should pay attention to the following, bearing the name "What did the king say?". For kids, this exercise is aimed at developing the ability to work in a team, prepares them for performing adult roles, subordination to "leadership" teams. In adults, among other things, an important function is developing, such as creativity of thinking.

This exercise, like other psychological games, for teenagers can be used to rally the team. To begin with, it is necessary to define the "attribute of power". This can be a book, pen, pointer or other object. When a participant takes this thing into his hands, he becomes a "king". Within 5 minutes he can give any commands to all the remaining players or anyone else.

For the facilitator, there are two main rules: do not repeat the previous tasks and not withstand long pauses. All other participants must do what the "king" says, sabotage or refuse from this, no one has the right.

Psychological games for teenagers usually have clear rules, which must be strictly followed. Deviations from the tasks are not welcome. So, to relax, relieve tension and develop imagination, you can use the exercise "Waterfall". Children are offered to sit down and relax. Next, the host says the text, describing the place where teenagers go in their imagination. Words should be colorful enough for children to be able to imagine exactly what they are talking about.

Psychological games for teenagers are an important means in achieving many goals, therefore in the work of a teacher they are simply irreplaceable.
