Powerlifting ranks: a tooltip for athletes

Powerlifting is a popular sport in Russia, which is actively developing now. In contrast to bodybuilding, the power characteristics are important in triathlon, and not the relief and beauty of the body. Competitions held by the Russian Powerlifting Federation at various levels of the country help to identify the most powerful athletes with well-developed physical characteristics that are able to withstand the resistance of the heaviest weight according to the results of the three basic exercises.

Federation of Powerlifting in Russia (IDF)

The Federation of Powerlifting of Russia was established in 1990. The first president of the community was Ananievsky SD - the head coach of the national team. To date, this sports association is the only accredited organization in the State Sports Committee among the other triathlon associations and is a part of the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF). FPR competitions are held according to strict regulations with mandatory passing of the doping check, fully conforming to IPF rules and standards. According to the results of regional and federal competitions held by the FPR, athletes are awarded titles that are recognized throughout the territory of Russia. Titles won at the championships of alternative organizations for powerlifting, officially at the Russian level, do not work. Thanks to the joint efforts of the IPF and the IDF to standardize all the conditions of the competition, this sport in the future can be included in the "Olympic Games".

Competition

Initially, according to international standards, the powerlifting competitions were held only with the use of single-layer equipment, the permissibility of each element of which is strictly regulated at the international level by the Federation of IPF. Then, due to the development of the popularity of the unequipped version of the competition, they began organizing additional fights without special sports equipment, calling them "classic powerlifting." Discharges 2013 without equipment are at the development stage of the IDF.

The current competitions are held according to the regulations with the equipment approved by the order of the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation in September 2013 and valid until 2017. Powers for powerlifting are assigned to athletes at various competitions. To get a higher rank, the match must be higher than the previous one. The rules of the competition are considered to be fulfilled by the total results of three exercises of powerlifting (deadlift, bench press, squat), taking into account the weight category of the participant.

Powers for powerlifting for men

Powerlifting ranks 2013 to MC can be awarded from 10 years, MS - from 16 years, MSMK - from 17 years. The standards for IMSM must be met at competitions that have international status and are included in the ETUC. The MS graduation is awarded at the championships of the level of the federal districts of the Russian Federation, the competitions in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and other regional tournaments that are present in the EKP. The standards of powerlifting on the CCM are fulfilled at competitions held at the level of large constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Powerlifting ranks for women

Powers for powerlifting are developed on the basis of athletes' performance, demonstrated at previous international competitions. The regulations vary slightly from year to year. Changes are due to the general development of this type of power sports: refinements of exercise techniques, new technologies for making outfits and other equipment, and personal achievements of participants in powerlifting competitions.
